Prior to his Big Baller Brand team taking on SC Supreme in the Adidas Uprising Summer Championships in Las Vegas on Wednesday, LaVar Ball argued that he and his son, LaMelo, could beat two of the greatest players of all time two-on-two.

When asked by Overtime (h/t Darryn Albert of Larry Brown Sports), Ball, 48, said he and his 15-year-old son could beat LeBron James and Michael Jordan in a competitive pickup game: "You already know I got me and 'Melo. Against LeBron and Jordan, anybody. Me and my son against anybody, we'll play and we'll beat."

Ball has a history of talking a big game when it comes to facing MJ.

In an interview with Josh Peter of USA Today in March, Ball said he would have beaten His Airness handily one-on-one in his prime:

"Back in my heyday, I would kill Michael Jordan one-on-one. ... I would just back [Jordan] in and lift him off the ground and call a foul every time he fouls me when I do a jump hook to the right or the left. He cannot stop me one-on-one. He better make every shot 'cause he can't go around me. He's not fast enough. And he can only make so many shots outside before I make every bucket under the rim."

Ball also said on Jimmy Kimmel Live he would make Jordan cry one-on-one.

Jordan, 54, was arguably the greatest player to ever step foot on a basketball court with six championships, six NBA Finals MVPs and 14 All-Star nods.

LeBron is still in his prime at 32, and the three-time champion has been to seven straight Finals.

The elder Ball, meanwhile, averaged 2.2 points per game at Washington State in 1987-88. LaMelo is a highly touted recruit committed to play at UCLA in the class of 2019.

This is the same big mouth that took his AAU team off the court due to him getting a T in a game while his team was winning. He has brain of box of rocks he living his dream through his kids. But he want to be notice by everyone, that why he talk so much smack all the time. Bottom line your kids are pretty good and you wasn't very good but you believe people owes you something but nobody owes anything. My advise to Lavar sit back and enjoy your kids play.

I'm impressed. It took him very little time to go from pushing product #1 (Lonzo) to start pimpin' product #2. Well done.

Ugh.... Why don't y'all understand this fool is an attention whore???

He wins when you give him attention.

Negative or positive it's only the attention that matters. If you don't like this fuckin' asshat:

    STOP.
    GIVING.
    HIM.
    WHAT.
    HE.
    WANTS.

And stop wasting forum space with these idiotic threads about FUCKING LAKERS.....

This is what I need you to do, BGD:

Make a string on your computer that self-destructs your computer when:

-You make a thread about this guy

    -You use the word untouchable

-You make a post that has been done 12+ hours before.

This guy is like Uncle Rico with a pulpit.

    Charles Barkley is not impressed:

“Hell, my grandmother could score two points a game, as long as she wasn’t double-teamed”

"I don’t ever talk about a guy who averaged two points a game on national television."

"He averaged two more points than a dead man."

Cept uncle Rico would be a horrible father and this one has provided opportunities for both of his sons to attend and play for a Division 1 University. One of which is now a millionaire.

This is all parenting IDGAF what anyone says.

You have mentioned this several times, but always give 100% of the credit to their father. LaVar Ball is not a single parent. I know a lot of people want to see Lonzo Ball fail because they can't stand his father. I'm not in that camp. Whenever I've heard Lonzo interviewed e seems like a good kid, not a boorish blowhard like his father. I think his mom should get at least as much credit as his dad for the way Lonzo has turned out.

She was also a better basketball player than her husband:

"Slatinsky, a sophomore, is averaging 13.1 points and 7.2 rebounds."

I'm not discounting their mother at all. Lavar is all we see. As a matter of fact I'm giving her props by saying "It's all parenting". Too many of you are discounting Lavar's parenting like y'all aren't there to witness it.

We live in a country where people like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton can be famous for having sex on video...

Stop paying it any mind and it will go away just like all the things that deserve attention that do not get it...

now that him and his family is officially linked to the Lakers, there is basically no end to the coverage that him saying retarded shit will get.

it doesnt matter how fuckin idiotic, unbelievable or IQ destroying it is, it'll get covered.

I've never really wished an ACL on anyone, but this whole family is the closest.

I just hope there is some correction in the normal season around his kids ego, ideally some really fuckin serious defenders just make him a bitch on the court and this bubble bursts. It's tedious as fuck.
