Lavar just doing his job. Don't make it your job to hate him, that basically makes him your boss. He manufactures outrage and he is good at it. He can make these TV fucks heads spin with ease, along with the masses who parrot them. There is no instant satisfaction for being a humble person...Lavar Ball and the people who follow him are all about instant satisfaction.

His kid has never shown that he has an "ego". There literally is only one reason to hate him and that's his team.

Transferring your hate to the kid says more about the hater than it does about the kid.

Part of being a good parent is teaching your children to respect others. That's my biggest problem with LaVar. He is disrespectful. He has made comments disrespectful of women and is constantly disrespecting great athletes, both past and present. I don't respect the man, because he doesn't respect others.

I don't hold that against his kid(s), but when their father is constantly disrespecting current players the kids are going to be the ones that have to back up his father's words. There is an expression, don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk. LaVar talks the talk, but knows he'll never have to back it up. He leaves that for his kids. It's not fair to them and is the reason so many people want to see Lonzo fail.

It's not a good reason. And it says more about the person wanting him to fail than it does a bout Lonzo. You don't choose your parents.

Also, just because Lonzo isn't exhibiting the same behavior as his father doesn't mean his dad didn't teach him to be respectful.

No one here is present when he's parenting. The bottom line is, any one of us would love to provide the type of opportunity to our children that Lavar and Tina have for for their children.

Part of parenting is teaching by example, and by disrespecting others publicly, LaVar is failing at this aspect.

Trumps kids are rich and famous, too. That doesn't mean I respect their father.

Rich and famous because they were given money not because they earned it through hard work and perseverance.

And they are still pieces of shit. Every one of them.

I would LOVE to watch MJ play him one on one. God that would be hilarious.

Barkley challenged him to a game of one on one, but LaVar's having none of that. All talk, no substance.

I think I have said from the beginning that I think this whole thing is fascinating. I think he's annoying, and I kinda hope he stays relevant so if Alonzo struggles we can watch him dance.

Could LaVar, Mr. 2.2 ppg, even do that in his prime. I'd take Old Fat Chuck over Old Fat No Talent LaVar any day of the week.

This is such crap. You can say this about almost every player in the NBA...except those parents did it without being a disrespectful, narcissistic, sexist, pompous asshole on a national stage.

So basically almost every player in the NBA, by your definition, had better parenting than the Ball kids.

The one thing I'll say is, a lot of older ex NBA players have put thousands of basketball miles on their bodies and their legs are not what they used to be. There is a good chance Mr. Ball, due to his dirth of basketball talent, has no where near the wear and tear on his legs Chuck has. I have no idea how well Barkley is moving around, but just sayin'. If Mr. Blowhard is counting on MJ being worn out, he'd better guess again. I'm pretty sure Jordan can still dunk on his face, at will.
