i dont want miller. we need a POST presence, ala O'Neal, and despite what you all say, he'd be a good fit. i think i might give up sean if boone keeps playing like this. sean and boone are redundant

who exactly are you giving up to get Miller? He has a pretty large contract. Either too many role player and draft picks or one of the big three would have to be involved. No reason to waste resources on a player who won't correct the true problem. Also for all this "potential" around SWAT...its still just potential. He relies on his athleticism way to much and is constantly in foul trouble. Yes he can get better but I think we all need to chill out on hyping him up so much. Boone is nearly averaging a double double as a starter and is the primary reason for our turn around since mid December. I don't want to hear fans even talk about removing him from the starting lineup. When Nenad is healthy they should bring him off the bench keep Boone starting. His hustle on the boards, defensive prowness and post play warrant the starting gig. Once again he is are best big man NOW.

Getting Jermaine O'neal would cripple this team.

We'd have to give up RJ and Swat/Boone.

You want to take our only AVERAGE bench player and insert him into the starting lineup? We'd average like 80 points a game. No!
we are either making a minor trade involving Magliore, Marcus, Draft picks, Antione Wright etc. OR we are trading either Vince or RJ.

Collins + Magloire makes it work in matching up contracts. Just a question of if throwing in a pick would get the Kings interested in a trade. If Thorn had been able to pull up off a trade like that then he could have used the trade exception to get a shooter off the bench. With that trade exception gone it makes things a little more difficult now. And if not Miller than maybe even Moore could work. He filled in for an injured Krstic so well last season.

all we would need to give up is Rj and Marcus or maybe RJ and krstic. do you realize what having a decent big who can score in the post would do to this team? we'd still get to keep two of our three bigs.

Somebody's got to YouTube that shot Antoine Wright took.

That was one of the worst shots I've ever seen.

I laughed as hard as that famous Adonal Foyle shot KC keeps posting.

Nenad has ZERO trade value...he's a free agent to be who has yet to prove he is healthy. Same goes for Marcus. If the Pacers were asking For RJ, Nenad and Marcus before this season why would they accept less now? Plus they really don't NEED RJ. Secondly say they do this deal.

    This is your lineup

    PG: Jason Kidd, Darrell Armstrong
    SG:Vince Carter, Antione Wright
    SF: Boki Nachbar
PF: Jermaine O'neal, Swat, Malik Allen
C: Josh Boone, Jason Collins, Jamal Magliore.

See the Problem? Boki is a significant downgrade from RJ as a starter while our bench is now anemic. Meaning when our starters sit teams can go on those 15-2, 20-4 runs we all hate so much. I hate these goddamn Jermaine Oneal is our savior threads.

I'm not even sure it was higher than the rim.

It was so far away, it was hard to tell.

It was definitely a shot, though.

Even if you threw in a first rounder they probably wouldnt take that trade. Collins is a horrible contract, Jamal Magliore is a free agent and the draft pick will be in the high teens low 20s. They could get better value. Also if we give up our first we are completely killing our chances at improving the bench. Miller would put this team dangerously close to the luxury tax meaning no FA signings and maybe losing a guy like Kristic.

Yeah. I watched it like 10 times.

I think it was actually never above the level of the rim and it was about 4 feet left.

I hope somebody has this game and can YouTube this classic shot.
