I see how everyone dislikes Laker fans... mostly because they were extremely popular during the 3-peat, and every kid 14 years onld and down jumped on the bandwagon and did nothing but kiss Kobe's ass... but this board doesn't really have any of those, and I don't think those are directed to us active Lakers fans here. It's just that maybe 70% of Laker fans are only Laker fans because of either Kobe or the recent success.
1st off, I really don't hate any fan in paticular if they are passionate about their team and actaully have some knowledge about the game. I do hate everyone that is a bandwagoner though. Like all these Heat fans that joined since this year's playoffs. If there is one set of fans that I can really say I hate though, it would be Kings fans. Ever since those Maverick/Kings series a few years back, I've really started disliking them.
Raiders' fans...
QUOTE (ELiiiTE @ Oct 21 2006, 05:16 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It's just that maybe 70% of Laker fans are only Laker fans because of either Kobe or the recent success.
What recent success do you speak of?

Because it is certainly recent It does! :dribble:
Well, I am a Lakers fan, but I was just making sure we're on the same page. Even though those 2000-02 championships are counted as recent, I thought you meant recent as in this past 2006 season.

QUOTE (ELiiiTE @ Oct 21 2006, 07:15 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well then, of course not! That was an insult to my basketball knowledge... ouch
Yeah, that's why I was asking what "recent success do you speak of" because the Lakers aren't even a quarter percentage of what they were a couple of seasons ago.
A lot of Wizard fans jumped on ther bandwagon all the sudden in '05 when they started playing good. Kinda seemed stupid. And I hate cowboy fans. Most Cowboy fans around here are only fans cus they hate the Redskins only because they used to suck hard.
I hate Philly fans the most. Probably because I'm surrounded by them the most and they clearly back up my claims. Their die-hard fans that take it too far, you'll get torn up even as a kid sporting a rival team shirt.

Damn how could I forget about Spur fans? I just got reminded on how much I hate them after seeing one of my friends join a group called "Spurs fans have WORLD CHAMPS shirts and Mavs fans don't." Eh, he's from San Antonio, but oh well, I hate most Spur fans in general because they never give the Mavs credit where it is due. They always say they are better than the Mavs when they clearly arent anymore.

People from LA in general, man. I went to an Angels vs. Rangers game in Anaheim, and one of the guys I was with was like, "Oh man, I got water on my shoe." Another guy with us was like, "Uh, no, not water." "What, is it beer?" And the guy turned and saw that it was an Angels fan PISSING FROM HIS SEAT. Yeah, that's pretty disgusting.I'd have to say Yankees fans are terrible, too. I don't hate the team as much anymore, but the fans, wow. I think at least half of the Yankees/Rangers games I went to, there was a fight of some sort. It was ridiculous. And I went to a lot of other games, so it's not the Rangers or baseball in general, it's Yankee fans.

I dislike Phoenix fans. They talk trash on message boards but yet the best memory of them in the nba is this.I also don't like Shaq fans. I hate anyone who is overrated. This is includes Dirk Nowitzki known as the european choke job....... That last part was a joke
