Did not try and stop him? After that first quarter they put Doug Christie on him, thats a joke. And Bron abused him.

Beating the KIngs at Arco is a rare thing for even elite teams to do, the fact that he played at that high level there was amazing.

I expected this from some people, and when he has a bad game, those peole will be all over him, which would be a real lame cheap shot.

I'm not sawing bow to the guy, just don't nit pick.

Again, the overhype of 1 player who has a good game, overshadows a GREAT night of Kevin Garnett. This is why the general public pisses me off, they fail to recognize when Garnett has a dominating game.

Who cares about KG's night, games like that are expected of KG, are they not? This was the debut of the most anticipated rookie ever, in any sport, and the kid delivered like no one expected.

KG wants headlines, finish ahead of the Lakers, Mavs, or Kings, and get out of the first round.

Since when is a player ever expected to get 20,20 night in night out. Yea Lebron had a nice game, but Kevin had a much better night by far. Not only were his numbers much better, he got the W. Yea Lebron scored 25 in his first game, but he still lost, not even close.

I'm not saying focus on Bron every night either, but since this was his first game, go ahead and put the attention on him. No doubt that KG had the best night either, but just like Shaq, and even MJ to a point, his numbers will be taken for granted.

What an awesome night.

Ok, I agree. KG, he's made plenty of headlines. The only way he should make em now is if he has like, a monster game, and, yea, he had a good game, but, I wouldn't say a MONSTER game. Sure, 20/20, monster in some eyes, but, it was against the Bucks. The Bucks have absolutely no one to guard him and he's gonna do that when you can't guard him. But, yea, if he want's headlines now, win the West and make it to the 2nd round. But, LeBron deserved all the headlines. His team may have lost, but, it sure as hell wasn't his fault. He had 25 points on 12/20 shooting, 9 assts, and 6 boards, also, NO TURNOVERS. That deserves headlines. People came in and said that he might struggle, I was one of them, because of his lack of jump shooting, but, it looked good last night. He deserved it. Wasn't expected. KG is expected to do what he did. Maybe not 20 boards consistent, but, he's expected to be good night in and night out.

Bron did have a few turnovers, but not the typical kind. One of them was a weak charge call.

Yea, that's what I was talking about. Like, the throwing it away or getting it stole from deal. Not charging. I seen that.

Lebron is playing a team who actually is physical.. and plays defense.. unlike the queens.. hes scoring well again, but hes also giving up a lot of layups to the matrix and joe johnson.. Im still waitin for Dmiles to wake up and play ball
He might have a tripple double.. Points boards and turnovers

    weak

    21 points (8-17 FG's), 12 rebounds, 8 assists, and a steal.

Yes 7 TO's, but his counterpart Carmelo Anthony had 8 TO's.

The bad thing is, he turned it over more in the second half. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he got all of his turnovers in the second half.

I think that was mostly because he was getting a feel for the game, the professional game that is, and was free to do other things then just basic playing. So he took it upon himself to dish out crazy passes and whatnot.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Moo2K4:</div><div class="quote_post">Damn, he's tearing it up. 12 points already and it's only the first. He could be in for a good game. Heck, gotta good game going overall right now to. No defense though....
