I'd pick Lebron since his potential is higher and can play multiple positions. For those who are saying the pg slot is harder to fill, that is true but Lebron can play that position pretty well too.
why are people saying things like, id pick pual cos if you put him with a good scoring PF then it'd be like stockton and malone all over again? THOSE GUYS NEVER WON A CHAMPIONSHIP!!! jesus, why would you recreate what the jazz are doing right now with boozer and williams? yeah they're good, but not good enough. Putting a great point gaurd with a good SF is not gonna work these days (the suns nash and marion days!). Look at what is getting teams into the finals, seriously strong mutha fukers like Kobe, Peirce, LeBron, Duncan etc. not chris paul. He is very good and very impressive, but having a great PG as your besty player wont get you anywhere, never really has, has it? coincidence? No sir. you want to win a championship, you build around a "big" player, a guy who can take over the game and force the other team to lose, lifting his team through his individual play, i.e. kobe, lebron, jordan, shaq, duncan, wilt, magic, peirce, russel etc. yes magic was a point but he was every other position as well, and was 6'9"! Paul is 6'3" at best, more like 6'1" or 2". paul can make his team mates better, but Lebron can power his way to a win by himself, thus leaving his teammates all open, then having a greater affect on the teams performance then paul. look at NBA history, go with lebron.
