<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Heatfan32 @ May 22 2006, 12:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>If LeBron shot just as much as Kobe i'm sure his fg% will drop also.Kobe has to score more points because of the incosistency of his teamates,LeBron actually has a decent center to work with while Kobe has Kwame Brown. What do single game stats prove? You can score as many points as you want but your career will always be overlooked because of the fact you never won a championship.</div>well put and to the other posts by that guy saying kwame is better than big z,u are really smokin that dope, there is now way in hell kwame is better than him,us lakers fans are just embarassed to have kwame as starting pf/center,when heatfan32 says he drops the ball...he really drops the ball he cant catch the ball its embarrassing,i guess his hands are just small or w/e ive seen him drop the ball this season off of a pass probly about 20 times and what about his airballed layups?this guy just throws it up without lookin and it hits the top of the backboard and doesnt hit rim,so before you tell me leBron has a lesser supporting cast than kobe's,watch a 2 or 3 lakers games,by the way...our point guard...ooy vay <lmao but seriously smush parker, sure he an amazing dunker,i went to see him play in the summer pro league and he was a pretty good player, but what about now? well he did alright during the season good dunks and all but in the playoffs he just plain and simple...sucked he went 3 for 25 in the series and made very poor decisions, the only good thing smush did was get a a clutch steal and three pointer, without smush and kobe we wouldve lost game 4,but besides that smush played down right horrendous, and look who cleveland has sure larry hughes was hurt but you also have damon jones and eric snow,i would take jones over parker in a heartbeat, chris mihm...dont get me started his problem is that he gets in foul trouble in less that 2 minutes...its unbelievable, and despite kobe's bad teamates he only has one other good player in odom who i love but is also inconsistant,it seems the lakers players are all inconsistant besides kobe and they still went to a game 7 in the playoffs against the suns,LeBron has a better team surrounding him seriously,if you think bron bron* [IMG] is better please pass that blunt

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Melo_061 @ May 19 2006, 03:44 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Is this even a question?Lebron is the best player in the league, better than kobe and Duncan. Kobe bryant is a choke job who airballed a chance to win the series in game 6. He disappeared in game 7, only taking 3 shots in the 2nd half of game 7. That's not something lebron would do. Lebron is the better scorer, defender, passer and is more clutch.edit: This comparision is ridiculous at the moment because people have short memories and are obviously going to say lebron. You can make a tmac vs wade comparision now and people will pick wade.</div>Um Kobe is definetly a better defender lol and id say hes has a bigger clutch career then lebron even if its been 6 or 7 seasons longer. LeBron has always been a choker his whole career till the end of the season. I mean he didnt hit his first game winner until like march of this season. Sure he had like 2 in a month including one in the playoffs but that doesn't make him clutch yet. Hes gonna have to show that he can really start coming out in the fourth quarter. If he continues to play in the 4th quarter like he did towards the end of the season he might be more clutch then Kobe then. My choice depends are we talking about who would rather have now or who we woul liek build a franchise around??? If its who would we rather have now ill take Kobe. Hes a better scorer, defender, and leader even though lebron is becoming a pretty darn good one. If its who would we want to build a franchise aound the obvious choice is Lebron and i dont even have to bother explaining why.

So far Kobe hands down, but that's because Lebron has only played for 3 seasons. Lebron will end up being better if he keeps it going at this level, and does not get an injury or anything.Lebron in his 3rd year averaged 30/7/7 Little more points, and all most 7 assits how many people have done that not many.Kobe is clutch...........Plays D unlike LebronIf I was starting a team thought I would take Lebron, because he is younger.I could post a lot on why Kobe is better for now.......But it's 4am, and I am sure all you know why.

I agree 100 percent with Melo061 this is such a dumb topic. Lebron would take kobe any day. He is so much better in everything. Kobe is a no good selfish hog. That game that he had 81 points? Did any one care to see how much assist he had? This is lebrons 3rd year already the 1st year he was 1 game behind the playoffs. The second he was tied with the nets and tehy didnt make it. Now people said the cavs woudl get into teh 2nd round tops with lebron and what does he do? Goes to the 2nd round and was one rebound away of beating the pistons! Kobe just falls apart to the suns as he did vs the pistons in the finals some years back tehres no comparision and i love how poeple are making these topics when lebrons so young compared to kobe

I would say you would have to go by them in their prime, now a days Kobe is a better individual while lebron is the better all around player.Kobe in his prime was amazing but he did have shaq who was a dominating force then.Lebron is a great player already but once he reaches his prime, then we can truly compare them IMO.
