His right leg was longer than his left leg

Well when I think of Oden I'm happy we have a new improved medical staff these days...seem to stay on top of things pretty well last couple seasons..I believe Oden had a wrist injury the last year he played in Ohio..

I've heard most people have that problem to a degree. What knee problem did he have?

He had basically two and a half legs...that middle one kept bumping his knees

Good point! But did we know that before we drafted him?

He did get a broken wrist in college. I don't see how that could be a red flag at all.

I was stoked about Oden....thrilled we got him...stuck with his first surgery...then it was the worst lockout season of Blazer ball ever with Roy going out, Nate getting fired, Oden broken beyond repair and Raymond Felton playing Andre Miller's spot....people who think I'm a homer didn't read my posts that season

According to Oden, the Blazers immediately had him wear a shoe that was bigger to compensate for one leg being longer than the other. There were definitely flags.

By now, I think Blazer fans are more like Theon Greyjoy getting kicked in the “balls.”

Had we drafted Durant he'd still be on the team he is on today.

He would not have won any titles at Portland.

hard to say if KD would have stayed here, he possibly would have had a little more FA pull though.

    07-08 could have been magical

    Blake, Roy, Webster, Aldridge, Oden

Outlaw, Jack, Sergio, Pryz, Frye ... man, i just get the sighs thinking about what could have happened over the next 5-10yrs if no injuries.

Blake, Roy, KD, Aldridge, Pryz would have been something amazing as well.

I know this is a Jason Quick article. But back then he actually had access and the players kind of trusted him. So i presume most of it is fairly accurate.

No, the line was "One will win rings and one will win scoring titles." So it remains true, it's just that it was the same one.

And if John McCain had won the election there would be no Trump.....
Fact is you have no idea what would have happened or where the team would be now if they had drafted Durant.
