Aminu is a fine player but he has no business starting on a competitive team. He's a utility player and always has been. Stotts needs to bring him off the bench and start Collins. Stop holding onto what's safe and comfortable.

I must say letting Connaughton go surprised me almost as much as Ed Davis going. We'd hung on to him through years of him looking useless and he was finally looking productive!

FWIW, I thought it was clear since you referenced "defense" in your post.

Read through the thread. "Aminu sucks" and "Aminu doesn't belong on a contender" is hate.

Is it Aminu's fault we've lost (10, actually) straight playoff games? He's the one playing well. He makes the other team pay. We need the other guys to step up. Aminu isn't the problem. "Checkmate" is classic by the way. Good times.

He’s the only one “playing well” because literally he’s not being guarded in the playoffs. Was he good in the playoffs? Yes. Its basically because Golden State and NO knows he cant beat them though, they know they can not guard him and win and so far theyve been proven right. I dont hate Aminu I think he can be a good role player on a championship team, but I definitely think at either SF or PF the Blazers need an upgrade to the starting unit in order to be a contender. You cant have two forwards that dont garner any respect at all from the opponent.

The entire conversation has been about his offense so there is that I guess.

Nobody anywhere said they “Hate” Aminu. Certainly not I. Dude gives everything every game and for that alone deserves nothing but respect. It’s his offense that has people feeling he should not be a starter on a contender. That is all.

Not going to argue with you about your meaning and the context of the conversation you decided to comment on. Pippen was a great player. Trying to compare him to Aminu is ridiculous.

Fact is if you decided to shut down Jordan which was nearly impossible and let Pippen shoot all night the way teams do the Blazers with Dame CJ and Amina? Pippen goes for 40 or maybe even 50. That is fact. Defense or no.

And by the way it is literally my wife that can’t stay of a fucking topic and gets mad when I try to straighten her the fuck up.

    Again i will say WHATEVER?
Your take on this is however you want to take it. Everyone agrees he plays good defense at times.
But i'm not going to try to figure out your take on a comment comparing him to a Hall of Fame player that was the second best player on a team that won multiple championships. You are the one that brought up Scottie Pippen. Not only was Scottie Pippen's defense better but you can't even compare him on the offensive end of the court. We are talking Scottie Pippen here. I watched the dude play his entire career. You cannot compare the two is all i am saying.

The thread is about Aminu. Can't talk about him without bringing up defense. Even you can't as evidenced above.

I really wish you would've just understood what I was talking about instead of doubling down on being wrong about the thread topic.

Now, who's gonna guard the most talented offensive player if Aminu is gone?

    It's a simple question.

    You're having an issue.

I'm not comparing Pippen to Aminu.

    Stop insulting my intelligence.

Just like I said and you don't seem to either be listening or reading well is,

I'm comparing their DEFENSIVE ROLES. Got it now???

I'm tired of this shit man... You're wrong. You said the

    "ENTIRE thread"

    was about his offense.

Just own being wrong. It's not hard.
