I'll admit, when I go round and round, and it's obvious I'm not being listened to or someone didn't read what I wrote, it gets frustrating... My bad. But I never once compared Aminu to Pippen and you should've known that I was comparing their defensive roles. I said this multiple times and I wasn't listened to.
I happen to not agree at all with that statement. It certainly isn't something i would post. Somebody saying "He Sucks" i would think is talking about his ability and not "Hate" of the man himself. I am not a fan of the player on the team the way he is being used. But in no way do i think anyone on here actually hates Aminu. Hate gets thrown around a little too easily these days.
I havent read all these posts but I think theyd have to hope that Harkless is healthy, and has no lingering problems. He’s the only guy besides Aminu I think who “could” do it.
It doesn't say anything about Aminu, but says everything about our roster. Across the league the most talented players on any given team are generally swings/wings. With Harkless out, Aminu is the only player who we could conceivably put on the other team's best player. It's not because Aminu is a great defender, it's because the only other guy who could theoretically match up with them is JAKE LAYMAN. Aminu is a versatile, but average, defender. There isn't a player in the league who is concerned about being defended by him.
He's shooting like Andre Roberson. It doesn't help that he's also getting absolutely torched lately as well.
Aminu is by far the most underrated player on the Blazers. He's our second best defender and, yes, our 3rd best player. Losing him would be a big mistake. Almost as big a mistake as it was to acquire Evan "Turner's Turn" Turner . "Turner's Turn" refers to the times that ET routinely decides it's simply his turn to shoot this time down the floor.
