Never heard of it before, but I'm tempted to buy the purple seat cushion to use at the office. If it does what it says it does, then maybe a purple mattress is in my future.
Latex. Pros: nice mix between firm and forgiving, breathes, is good for people with dust and pollen allergies, good for fucking. Cons: spendy, heavy and can be too firm for people who like a lot of give. I bought mine here. The two brothers who own the store give a nice little demonstration and you they have mattresses you can test out, but the mattress you get is made to order. http://mulliganmattress.com/
I bought a Temperpedic in the closing hours of Labor Day last year. It was a floor model so we got a helluva deal. Named it Beddy White.
I honestly just go to PJ's Sleep Shop on Hawthorne. Best deals in town. I just recently got a nice pillow top mattress with a box spring and frame for 350. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.
So I did a ton of research on Mattresses when I bought one about two years ago including joining a mattress forum and found out that Park Lane Mattresses was probably the best option for anyone in the Portland Metro area. Build quality is top notch and the prices are waaaay better than the national brands. Mattress Pricing on national brands is a complete sham and sales are very rarely real sales considering the markup is some insane percentage.
damn man, im not in pdx. looking at some memory foam shit like casper and purple, idk though, checking out that stearns and foster and latex joint now
I dreamed I was floating in foam. Then I looked up and it was just a UFO alien raping me. Unsatisfied. I think it was a transsexual.
That would make a good singles ad for you...I want to try out an Ikea mattress..looking for like minded partner
We have one in our guest bedroom. It's just OK (which was intentional -- cuts down on the amount of time family is willing to crash at your pad).
fuuuuuck. the problem with the online beds is you cant check them out first. i guess they have a 100 day money back guarantee.
I went into a store to check out new beds (going from Queen to King in our bedroom). They showed us the Temperpedic mattresses, the ones we looked at were $6700-$8200. What the fuck, it would adjust up and down, vibrate, etc. Seems like a lot though. They were willing to throw in the bed and chest of drawers set ($1800 or so) if we got the mattress with the adjustable bed stuff. Still looking around though, shit is nuts.
