Had he went to Miami id of never cheered for him. That's the truth. But Milwaukee. Hell fucking yeah I will!
I feel sorry for Dame. Clearly his head wasn't right this summer, whose would be in the middle of a divorce? Then we get #3 in the draft and have no choice but to take Scoot. Dame feels rejected a second time. Then his agent blows it by publicly demanding a trade to only one place. Then Dame asks for a do over and Cronin says no. Another rejection. Then he's traded to a place about as un-Miami as it gets. Be careful what you wish for. No wonder this is how he looks.
I feel sorry for so many more people in this world than someone who is going to retire closer to a billionaire than a millionaire
this photo is Lillard with a beautiful baby and a new uniform for a contending team. "Feeling sorry for Dame" doesn't qualify as a description. No troll points awarded
If you believe the Golliver piece, it was Jody who said no. She wanted to move on. Which is ironic considering he thanked her and not Joe.
I'm just a little skeptical about the timeline. The story about Dame wanting to rescind his trade request said the ask was made in a meeting on Sept 5. The Golliver story said JA said what she said in a zoom call in early September. Now, it's possible the zoom call was arranged because they knew Cronin was going to be meeting with Dame (and his agent?); and that Cronin may have been anticipating the rescind request from Dame and was asking for direction from JA. in any event, I don't believe that JA just passed down an edict without full advice from Cronin. I think the 'it's gone to far to come back' stance was from both Cronin and JA. And the 'too far' was a direct response to the actions of Dame's agent, and the likely well founded suspicions that Riley was part of that Miami-or-bust strategy I've been saying since about the 3rd week in July that my suspicion was that the Blazer front office, and JA, were likely mildly outraged by the actions of Goodwin & Riley and that a trade with Miami was not going to happen. I've seen nothing in the last 3 weeks that disputes that suspicion
That was in reference to marketing material. Doesn't necessarily mean anything for on-court team. This is a perfect example of correlation does mean causation.
something tells me this is going to be very messy for him. https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertain...1&cvid=dd65074dc3ec4877b9479294acdc907f&ei=15
I hope this article isn't the "something" that tells you that. It's very obviously his estranged wife attempting to get full child support and it sounds like they have a prenup. I bet this goes pretty smoothly and happens almost entirely behind closed doors.
Nah, he moved out at the beginning of his best season as a pro. This doesn't sound like a hookers and blow situation and if it is hookers and blow hopefully the Bucks hook him up.
Leave the man be. This is life changing for all involved. It doesn't need nor deserve any type of scrutiny one way or another.
But there's nothing there... Feelings get hurt in divorces. All of this is very mild and unremarkable.
