I miss the days when people didn't turn on our best player who is doing his best to shoulder the load of an overall ineffective team.
I can think of 24,328,425 reasons why he should be "into it". And, I think you could not be more wrong. You make it sound like he's not trying, when, in fact, the exact opposite is true. He's trying to do too much. He has one good teammate and the rest are overpaid, below average, one (or zero) dimensional role players. BNM
Or maybe surround them both with some actual talent. Last I checked, basketball was still a team sport, and outside of Lillard and C.J. the rest of our team is pretty damn bad. BNM
If lillard averaged 30 on 60 percent FG some "fans" on here would still bitch. Lillard will not be traded. Simple as that so keep the bitching up. If you don't have logic, hey that's fine go ahead and hate on Lillard but dude isn't being traded. Have fun with that and hopefully next season we can get some actual players that will help CJ and Lillard and then some of the dumb fans will see, it was never about Lillard
If that is the case we should make a determination NOW what is the best course of action, there is no reason to risk any further damage and if it might need surgery or a long period of rest lets start that now so he is fully ready for next yr. Added benefit is playing some young guys, more losses and a possible top 4-6 pick in a good draft!
I don't remember any, either. It looks like about a third of the 24 times in the last 2 minutes, the game was close enough to make it an important shot. http://bkref.com/tiny/AgJGT
That's always been the case when we're losing. You blame the star of the team. I can't think of a time when we didn't harp on the LAs, Roy's, and rasheeds of the team.
Could be that Dame is finally coming to the realization of what Portland can offer. His first few years he thought he could take on the world--now he's seeing truly what the business is about and how little Portland can attract talent.
