Drop Melo from the rotation. He won't like it, but guess what? It's happened before to him and it'll happen again. Boo hoo if he decides to complain or not re-sign next year.

Our bench should be Little, Jones and Kanter. Period. That's an 8 man rotation. Probably not good enough to get us out of the first round, but certainly better than what we've been seeing.

Throw Ant out there if you need an extra shooter.

Not sure that they need to cut down to an 8 man rotation, but really looking at the team, there isn't much else (I'm still not ready to give up on Simons, but he's definitely making a case to be benched).

A good team goes 1-8 against teams above them?

    Got it.

Hes learning from the best. Guards that iso and shoot the long ball.

Honestly I have given up on this season. Too much needs to change for it to be successful.

I'm just hoping that Stotts/Melo and hopefully Olshey are gone after this season.

It certainly can. The teams above them are likely better than them.

I'm hoping that we give Little another shot. The one time all season he gets more than 23 minutes in a game he goes off for 30.

CJ has to get traded this summer for an upgrade at forward/center. We need to give Little some run to find out just what we've got in him.

Unfortunately, I suspect our head coach is already thinking about his next job, and developing a 20 year old isn't going to play much into his plans.

Perfect world: next season I would like to see our lineup something like this:

    Dame
    Norm
    (New Small forward)
    RoCo
    Nurk

    Little
    Kanter
    (Backup point guard)
    Simons

    New Coach
    New GM

Obviously that's a lot of change. Realistically I don't think we're going to fire Stotts AND Olshey, so it's most likely going to be Stotts. I also don't think we're going to keep DJJ. I think he's going to opt out and bail. I wouldn't stay here if I was him. I'm just hoping we can retain Norm.

Change doesn't guarantee success, but insisting on the same thing and hoping now it will work seems stupid to me. Both Olshey and Stotts had more than enough time to prove themselves. We need to move on and try something different.

And let's be clear, I'm not in here arguing for no change, I'm asking if we have confidence that the people in charge right now are the people who will make the right kind of change? And what kind of change would that BE? Which new coach? Which new GM? Why them?

Im not opposed to change as long as you get someone with a proven resume to improve the team.
Hell, I would trade Dame fro the right deal if it improved our team.

You’re saying the role players stopped trying to fill the roles they are paid millions for because ... what do you mean? That they are there to fill roles while the two stars score so they won’t try now?

Are you calling RoCo and DJJ quitters because you’d quit in a fit? That’s quite a slam on those guys. I’d like to think they have much more professionalism than some dude on a message board saying they aren’t trying and he wouldn’t either.

LOL. Luckiest guy in the world I guess.

Again propose somebody we could get with a better resume.

I guess it's not his job to do so. Why someone needs to name a new coach or a new GM if he thinks the current one is not good enough? Results show he is not good enough.

So I'm supposed to go and find another mediocre GM... why would I want to do that? Try to find a list of professionals that meets your fucking weird ass criteria. Sorry, I don't want to play your strange scavenger hunt. I guarantee you there are GMs out there that have gotten more than two teams to the second round. I also know there are tons of teams that have kept the same GM during several shitty runs where they get stopped at the conference finals multiple times. I'm not going to go look or make a list of that kind of common mediocrity. Olshey has no accomplishments as an NBA executive besides being the most underqualified guy with the most seasons as a GM.

I seriously can't believe you wanted me to find GMs that got two teams to the second round and have made two conference finals appearances... fucking hilarious.

I don't care what another former GM has done... I'd much rather have a guy with credentials, like a playing career and/or more than five years of NBA front office or coaching experience.

I am so fucking sick of the tail wagging the dog for this team.

I keep hearing that, but I have yet to see how bad he is compared to anybody else we could go get.

Then when I ask who people just get mad...

Sorry, pissing and moaning without a plan just doesn't appeal to me.

Well Dame right they need to gets some pop ride and heart. I just watched the the game offense we are basically full speed through our iso and some one's. Defense looks like half speed with know effort at all. Nurk still looks like having problems moving lateral it might due not in shape but might have to with steel rod in his leg.
