Lillard said he is targeting Saturday's Cleveland game to return, per Casey Holdahl's tweet.

    *sigh*

They do suck. I'm surprised you don't recognize this fact. I'm not a hater. I love the Blazers. I just recognize garbage when I see it.

sorry, I kind of had to. Sly was threatening to suspend me if I didn't.

But you're right, garbage is garbage, negative or not. Although I think the team has decent pieces IF they can get a potential superstar in the draft. but if this team loses it's pick to Denver, they'll be stuck in mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

Saying that doesn't change whether or not one is a fan.

If Damian tries to come back soon, we should go slap the whole organization. Ridiculous to test an injury like that, foot injuries have ruined player's careers. He should take at least a month off. The guy just signed a max contract, we don't need another Brandon Roy/Darius Miles/Greg Oden/Sam Bowie

And Dame needs to save that aggresiveness for the playoffs, he's too hard on his body right now for a meaningless season.

Plantar Facitis (sp?) isn't really an injury. It's more of a condition and lots of players have played with it. Sheed had it most of his career.

true but it can become chronic so taking extra care early on can make a big difference

Stop it. Plantar fasciitis isn't your typical foot injury. It's easily fixed and it all just comes down to pain tolerance.

Dude literally just needs to sit a week, wear a stupid sock that bends your foot a certIn way while sleeping and have a specially made orthotic in his shoes.

    Stop overreacting

If you treat it properly, it's not that tough to get over. Most people either try to push through it or figure it'll get better with just rest, which really only delays the next onset in most cases. I assume Lillard is getting the proper treatment, given the strong reputation of the current medical staff, and that this won't be a lingering problem for him. Think of it like a bruised toe or a sprained thumb.
