Don't feed the troll. The Blazers are 39-18. Most experts (and even most fans) didn't expect them to win 39 games all season. The fact is the team has FAR exceeded expectations. The team is as good as their record says they are. Minnesota was picked by all the experts to finish ahead of us, but they are below .500 and likely to miss the playoffs yet again. If Canzona wants to write about a team that's just not that good, maybe he should move to Minnesota. Or Los Angeles, where the Lakers, who were picked by most experts to finish ahead of us, have the worst record in the Western Conference. Poor Johnny. The Blazers far exceeding expectations has severely limited potential material for his column. It's pretty hard to be a negative Nancy when the team is doing better than everyone expected (although Canzano and a few posters here are bound to give it their best try). BNM
