If I may, I'd like to write Canzano's next take: "Against the Nets, Damian Lillard was only the fourth leading scorer and had zero assists. We call this guy a leader? I think the recognition from the NBA has gone to his head."
I hope you don't mind, I sent it to him, but with a few edits to fit it on the Tweeter. PDXPapaG @PDXPapaG 11s @JohnCanzanoBFT - Against Nets, Lillard was 4th leading scorer with 0 assists. We call this guy a leader? Is fame in his head? #whoisCanzano
As if I didn't like Lillard enough! Don't know what the Clown said, don't care what the Clown said. Haven't read him or listened to him in quite a while because he just got so predictably bad. But I love that Dame reminds me of what an attention whore a particular journalist can be. Brilliant!
John couldn't be further off in his analysis when it comes to Portland fans standing when players coming off the court. There are times he really doensn't have a clue and quite frankly he deserved the smackdown he got from Damian.
Crap like this is why his garbage radio show got moved to mid day. I think it's obvious that his popularity is at an all time low and he knows it. He's becoming irrelevant. He's gotta stir the pot and piss people off to get people talking/tweeting about him. It obviously works because we are talking about him. Shit!
Canzano sure does love being part of the story. http://www.oregonlive.com/sports/oregonian/john_canzano/index.ssf/2014/02/canzano_blog_well_nice_to_meet.html
I'm guessing the link doesn't even need to be clicked. "I...me....my...he's not that great...I....me....my...(holier than though tone)...I...me...my..." For anyone that read the article, if that is way off base, let me know and I'll retract.
What a douchenozzle. He's trying to be Alec Baldwin yelling at Ed Harris in Glengarry Glenn Ross, but he can barely muster a Jack Lemmon.
Most called it on here . . . Canzano will do anything for a little pub. The more people that read Lillard's tweet or click on his article dealing with this topic the better for John. He has gone after Allen, LA, Olshey . . . now it is Lillard's turn. John needs attention (both professionally and personally) and knows how to get it.
You know what the sad thing is? Even the most pessimistic blazer fan thinks Clownzano is a tool. That takes effort.
