Lillard just tweeted this - Damian Lillard @Dame_Lillard “@JohnCanzanoBFT: Well, nice to meet you Damian Lillard… http://www.oregonlive.com/sports/oregonian/john_canzano/index.ssf/2014/02/canzano_blog_well_nice_to_meet.html …” big deal or nah?
I love how he asks his followers "Should I even pay attention to this fucking guy? Cause I can't devote the 10 seconds it takes to make the decision myself, it's so minor to my life."
Sly Poker Dog @SlyPokerDog @Dame_Lillard Just ignore @JohnCanzanoBFT . No one expects you to know the name of every reporter who asks you a question.
So Canzano decides to troll on to a new old complaint about the Blazers... John Canzano @JohnCanzanoBFT Trail Blazers have retired 11 numbers… one more than the Bulls and Spurs combined.
I 100% understand where you are coming from but the Blazers do EXACTLY the same thing. IMO - with out having Canzano in the market, it would be hard to sift out whats correct and incorrect OR getting the other side of the story.
Someone should tweet Dame: "Don't feed the troll" (and twit reference canzano, however the hell you do that with your stupid new incomprehensible jibberish language).
Good point. Right now it's easy: Canzano's incorrect. In this dystopian post-Canzano reality, his replacement might be occasionally right.
But it's seriously not even a big deal. So what? All it does is fuel the soccer mom insult. I don't think players have avoided Portland for having too many retired numbers.
Being a STH for 5 years, I can't tell you all the BS fluff articles and statements the blazers made where Canzano was correct but I can tell you that their were a large amount.
Yes, but this horse has been beaten to death. Blazers haven't announced that they're looking to retire more numbers, just an odd time to bring this up after a somewhat unexpected and fun win last night.
