I haven't seen him on any injury report. Did you ask him if his fingers and back still hurt? Have you heard any of the announcers, or anyone close to the team talk about it being an issue? The finger injury happened 5 months ago. So again, do you know this, or is it an ASSumption.

On March 5 I made a post congratulating Lillard for getting 18 rebounds, but I guess you missed that one.

Absolutely right. Anyone who thinks Lillard is doing just fine isn't paying attention.

BTW, accusing people of having a low IQ because they don't share your unfounded assumptions is not a mark of intelligence.

His shooting really started to slump in January, and the finger injury took place December 4th, and he had many great shooting nights in the month of December. In fact, the 2nd half of December he was on fire from 3.

    But...

And I don't believe this is it but there could be a correlation between the slump and the time he went down at the Moda Center versus the Heat. That's when it all started to go down hill. Ironically, that was the same day the shoes were unveiled.

Yes, it could be his back. But when Batum was in his slump, he was all to eager to blame it on his back. Maybe Damian doesn't want to make excuses or whatever, but I don't hear him, or anyone close to the team bringing it up. So it's pure speculation.

Even when he was cold shooting, he didn't seem to have a problem taking it to the rim with abandon. Not sure that is something a guy with a gimpy back would want to do.

He was horrendous against San Antonio in the playoffs last year too. 17.4% from three in that series. This whole year his FG% and 3pt% numbers have been down. The slump started after The Shot against Houston.

The good news is Lillard is due to come out of his shooting slump anytime now

He led the NBA in 4th qtr scoring this year so I don't buy this theory

Volume and efficiency are not the same. His shooting percentage in the last five minutes of a game this year is far worse than his first or second year in the league.

I think if he was ill. They would have sat him.

As I said, I think it's more mental

Actually, I would like to see him do what he can. He has terrific handles so use them for team mates. This 0 for 6 from three looks like standard box for him and it doesn't need to happen.
Tonight, I was watching him intently when Meyers gets on the court. He flat out won't pass the ball to Meyer even when he is wide open. What the fuck is up with that? Meyers is the best
three ball man we have and everybody but Lillard knows it. Hell, when we were down 20, Meyer should get the ball and shoot the fucking thing every trip down the court.

I will admit that Dame has been playing absolutely horrible this last month. I wish he would get out of this funk

We're actually using the bench for the first time in those 3 seasons. I get it..he's in a shooting slump but to throw his season away is a bit of a stretch from my view
