    And whats the news on guys like McGwire, Sosa, Bonds etc. if they ever reach the hall of fame? Will they have asterisks?

    imo the hall should be a museum not a shrine, have everybody in that deserves it, but tell both sides of the story. i mean....

    we could have a hall of fame without:

    the all time hr champ
    the all time hit champ
    one of the best pitchers in history
    and thats not even counting guys lke manny, arod, mcguire, etc

    MadBum has looked like shit so far. We're fucked if he can't perform like he did at the end of last year. Zito is irrelevant, hes wouldn't make the PO roster again and if he did, it means someone who we would need to pitch and pitch well is hurt or terrible all year. The offense this year might be able to help the pitching out a bit more but ultimately we need Tim, Cain, and mostly good/great performances from Sanchez and MadBum to win again.

    As for Belt, I love his defense and plate discipline but he doesn't belong. I'd like to keep him up as well but hes just not hitting right now and when he does its usually weak bloop singles and rarely solid drives. Yeah I'd rather keep him up here but its very crowded right now and hes not getting it done. Remember that Posey came up briefly in 2009 and looked poor at the plate before returning permanently later and doing fine.

    Don't even know what to think with the HOF. Seems stupid having cheaters in there but IMO the past world series get overlooked as well. There are known cheaters on a ton of past WS teams and I've yet to see anyone demand asterisks on those. WTF do you do with the whole era? We all focus on certain big names but how many of their accomplishments came against people who were also cheating? Such a cluster fuck. The MLB is a joke in many ways.

    there needs to be asterisks on guys like Bonds in the HOF and the record books. That asterisk should say "fucking cheater".

    He was just mad he wasn't as good as Griffey.
