<span style="color:blue"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">Lions sign cornerback Fisher </span></span> Wednesday, March 14, 2007 ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions added some depth to their secondary Tuesday when they signed free-agent cornerback Travis Fisher (St. Louis Rams) to a one-year contract. Fisher, a six-year veteran who has started 53 games in his NFL career, is expected to compete for a starting job with veterans Fernando Bryant and Stanley Wilson. The Lions are still waiting on a decision from free-agent wide receiver Kevin Curtis (Rams). Curtis, who met with officials from the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday, has set no timetable for his decision.
