Initially I had thought this might be our starting lineup; but thinking about it more I don't see how we will be able to play the trio of Plumlee, Davis and Aminu together at once. All of them are terrible shooters. They are the 3 worst shooters on our team. The offense would bog down and have an extremely hard time scoring. Pick and roll's wouldn't be effective when the defense can leave two other teammates wide open to come and help. We could start two of them; but not all three. I'd expect Plumlee to be the starting center and Davis the reserve that takes his place.

Yeah, I lost track of the fact that Aminu is such a poor shooter.

Technically they are great shooters. Just inside shooters. They know not to shoot much from 12 plus feet as that is when they can't hit at a good level.

I think if you want a nice balance of scoring and D then you go with

    PG Dame
    SG Henderson
    SF Aminu
    PF Leonard
    C Plumlee

With CJ still as super-sub Vinnie Johnson (microwave role) but getting plenty of minutes and probably ends games.

Davis would still get healthy minutes backing up both Leonard and Plumlee and I not expecting a lot from Vonleh (this first year - but am in 2-3 years) so garbage minutes for he and Kaman.

+> Plumlee has to do more than set himself within two feet of the rim and slam dunk. I hope he is the team leader on blocks ( if refs allow that sort of thing without an instant foul call.) I expect CJ to get better and Dame to exceed expectations. Aminu and Davis are on my radar.

    Plumlee
Mayers Bieber \If the opposing team starts with a stretch 4 like GS then Aminu.
    Crabbe
CJ \if CJ does not improve his defense and there's a big talent he needs to guard then Henderson.
    Dame

I think it's hard to call it exactly without being present at training camp, if these guys can move the ball well then the system should be the same it was last year and my starting 5 should be optimal, but if their passing will look like ass then you have to start with a quicker lineup with more ISO and pick&rolls featuring Dame and CJ.

    dame
henderson-henderson can play off ball with dame at the beginning of the game, but cj will play with dame toward the end of the game to share ball handling duties.
    aminu
    leonard
plumlee-plumlee can play inside while meyers play outside.

however i think we needs to make a trade for harrison barnes. make it happen neil without trading our big 3 (dame, cj , and meyers) i think that barnes would make us a really scary team
