Just found out it's a soccer club team and that WSU doesn't have a mens pac12 team. Thats cool as long as he can play with guys his age.
Congrats to everyone that has a kid/grandkid going to college. My youngest just committed to Northeastern's global explorer program. Unlike all you all my kids are allergic to sports - but still, exciting stuff ahead. @THE HCP - my kid is going to spend her first semester in Berkley, so not too far from your kid, before she heads to London in the 2nd semester. We are also going to be empty nesters, so the next rave is at our house, I suppose.
Oh that’s right, Ducks don’t either. STILL! That’s cool he’ll be able to continue doing what he loves. Good luck to him.
Tell her to head across the Bay with crandc to watch mine play. Congrats on her getting into Berkeley, that is no small feat.
In the last week we've been to two baseball games, two softball games, an invitational track meet and a soccer game. All grandkids only 6 of the 13 that are all within spitting distance.
My wife has said that with the kids gone, the nest will never really be empty, even when I travel. I don’t understand.
Should I tell THE HCP that Black Dog's opening lyrics are about how much Robert Plant reeeaaally wants to have sex with the girl he's singing about?
So with the kid not heading to college until late July, and her club career finished, she was invited to play in a U23 semi pro team filled with college players. They play other teams of college players from around the PNW. The Cascadia Premier League. Pretty honored to have her invited. One of the youngest players on the team. Season started tonight.
Well 2 goals (almost a sick 3rd) and 1 dime out there last night! Not a bad way to start against these grown college women, Some 5 years older than her. Great way to keep her legs fresh before college camp starts. Very proud of her!
