Anyway, thanks for sharing for me. The WCC getting picked up by ESPN+ is pretty big for them. Used to have to watch on WCC.net…… glad they worked out a deal with them. Kid plays OSU Thursday night!

She did man! We are pumped we got to watch. She played so under control, it was great to see. In person, can’t believe how big and fast these athletes are, it’s crazy. So used to seeing her be the biggest and fastest. Another game this Sunday against UC Davis I believe. Sticking around to see that one too.
Landed this morning and went and had lunch with her on campus. Love that she is getting all the chances and opportunities I never had. You parents out there know, that’s what it’s all about FAMS!

That’s solid man, soccer isn’t like basketball. A lot more players don’t see much time. Very promising if she’s already cracking the rotation. What position does she play? How many goals did she score her senior season? Same position in college as HS?
Hey man. Thanks for the kind words. Yes it’s been great seeing her enter this new chapter. D1 sports is NO joke. She seems to be the #1 backup to the 2 stars of the team. She has played the 7 or 11 her whole career…..mostly 7. Thats what had the recruiters and coaches calling. When USF and a few other schools were recruiting her, the coaches asked is she’d be interested in learning the 10 spot. Said they loved her vision and passing. She said ,”sure”. Well that’s where it looks like they like her at. She said she is having a blast so far. Today she players about 45 minutes behind those girls. Didn’t get mush done out there, but is looking comfortable at her new position. Been a real learning experience so far. She isn’t used to coming off the field ever. But we had her mentally prepared and it seems like the captains and older players have really excepted her. Side note: Got to see the new Bill Russell exhibit about 100 yards from her dorm room. Her coaches were impressed she knew that Bill Russell had “More rings than fingers.”
Well she played a career high 35 minutes yesterday in a 0-0 tie. Just pumped to see her out there! Cool seeing her in person! Looks like she made the travel squad heading down to LA this week for two games.
