to quote what a girl once said to me, in my late 20's.. "I'm sorry if what I said made you think I had feelings for you. there is no way we could have a physical relationship. I am not looking for one. Sorry if you felt I sent you secret messages". She also said "my boyfriend is returning from his trip next week anyways"...but A: I'm not gay so therefore i don't have a boy friend and B: he was one of those beer drinkin' trust fund shits and C: she apparently was a drunken idiot. So..um...thanks? I guess. HCP HCP, he's our man..if he can't do it, "THE" can!
The practice was known as red lining. In any case, looking different (e.g black or hispanic or asian) from a white person is a pretty big giveaway at a job interview. Those things get red lined, too. I doubt anyone who does such red lining cares that a white person coming from NE Portland.
What you said is true. I wasn't trying to take away from your point, sorry if it sounded I did. I tried to show that I know there are hues that play a far bigger role (in the sense that it plays a role at all) in things. As for the realty thing, I knew it was red something but I just couldn't remember. Thanks.
Man, I turn my back on a post for a couple days and epic win occurs. I don't think I've ever actually heard anyone bragging about being caught by the police. "Yo fams, I been to jail 20 times." If someone has been caught 20 times, you know what that says? They're a fucking moron who is too stupid to avoid being caught by the po police. Stop listening to Death Row. Stop listening to 2pac. The gangster movement died about ten years ago. Take the bandanna off your head, turn your hat 90 degrees, pull the sticker off (it's not new anymore), and go take your pain medication. Sincerely, Reality
old 2pac? is there new 2pac? lol actually some unreleased songs leaked like a month ago but i didnt download them didnt bendavis have a sign at a game saying "HCP is my hero"?
Redlining in Real Estate began in the 30's, and the first major offender was actually the newly created Federal Housing Administration. The Fair Housing Act of 1968 was eventually passed to fight the practice. It prohibited redlining when the criteria for redlining are based on race, religion, gender, familial status, disability, or ethnic origin. Oregon Real Estate laws and agent's Code of Ethics have expanded that criteria to include sexual orientation and to some extent, children. Redlining still exists (illegally) in nearly every form of commerce, most notably in banking, insurance and credit. American Express has been sued recently for it, as has Sallie Mae (student loans). Only in the field of employment is it encouraged, and often demanded, by Federal Programs such as Affirmative Action which are nothing more than institutionalized racism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redlining
Let's let an expert in his field clear a few things up for us:
One of the most underrated shows in tv history. Fred Willard and Martin Mull were brilliant. The show it spun off of....."Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman", was also brilliant.
OH my god I can't believe I missed it. We should present this thread to the President of Comedy to convince him to supply Ben Davis with free alcohol for life. For the good of the people! Oh, and why did he stop posting? YOU AINT A CLAM HOMIE ARE YOU FAMS? FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMS
