So a run and gun team is the only scenario for players who are lean and long? Seems to me players who are tall and quick are better for every scenario. Assuming you have skill to go with it. That is like saying Durant can't play well in a half court game.

hopefully 20 pounds comes from having a heart, and the bulk will help him not avoid actually making contact on a screen.

Who cares about his weight? What matters is, will he stop falling back from contact as he shoots?

Blazer fans get all delighted over words, not action.

What? Every scenario? I don't think being long and quick is better for a power forward that has never created a shot for himself in any way other than falling away from the defender is better than being long and thicker. And why do you think he will suddenly lose all his quickness (which has done what for him? All he does is turn around and shoot) just cause he gained some muscle?

Sure LaMarcus isn't some great lowpost artist.....but wow...... you are selling him waaaaaay short. You are saying he has "never created a shot for himself in any other way than falling away from the defender"? Are you serious? Sure, he has certain go to moves, but have you watched his game? I think people get way to caught up in preconcieved notions and stop even taking in real data. Do you watch this team? Sure, he relies on that too much. But, other things have happened. Quit using hyperbole. It makes you look uninformed. A Laker fan could come in and make a better observation on LMA.

What I love about MB is how objective he is. He really tells it like it is.

WTF are you talking about? I was not even talking about LMA in my post that you quoted. I was talking about players in general (Not just one position) Maybe I should have used the word "most" as opposed to "every", but my opionion remains that lean and long is a better scenario for most styles of play. Wouldn't you rather have a version of Oden that is leaner? Could a young lean Shaq not play for Nate. Or was the bulky slower version better?

The question was asked "why does Nate want his players to be lean and long if he doesn't let them run and gun?" I say the quicker you are the better. Dwight Howared is strong as hell, but still lean.

Think I'll wait and be the judge of this myself. Every year people surrounding the team hype up the players and every year they turn out disappointing.

Great news! A stronger and more aggressive Aldridge = more wins!

We need one of those "Behind the locker room door" articles from Quick where he tells how big LMA's poop is.

That's the million dollar question and you're right, we're looking for some encouraging words about LMA. Hopefully the words we're hearing this time around actually show up on the court.

That imposter is not me. I would have said "does the team really need a 260lb SG?"

    Who hacked into MM's account?

The real MM would have said "It's Mr. Sonic's fault". ;)

Who hacked into andalusian's account? The real andalusian would have realized that the real MM would have said "Nate is moron and couldn't even coach my team of high schoolers."

While it is the AssClowns fault the he has allowed Aldridge to drift around the perimeter, and that Nate is in fact a moron who's high school team would get thumped by my high schoolers......Neither one of those insults are near clever enough to be mine.

But I like the spirit. Now lets turn the threads attention on someone who wants it...... HCP

    Who hacked into Minstrel's account?

The real Minstrel would have known that if you run this query in the search form, the results are empty!

I just saw Shawn Kemp and he looks amazing! Guy lost 50lbs and is ready to make a Blazer comeback.
