That happened last season and Hickson did well. We lost many of those games though.

I just don't understand why it needs to be Hickson or Aldridge? I mean this same thing was discussed when Aldridge emerged and zach was questioned if he was right for his club. That was a mistake and choosing now is one as well. They seem to be really clicking now, which is why I think we keep them. Leanord is going to need at least three more years to get into a comfortable starter. Having leanord be the first off the bench for bigs is a good thing.

I agree with you. i would love to keep both long term. We need two bigs who can score. Especially with inevitable injuries throughout a season. i think it comes down to what JJ wants and what is his agent convinces him he is worth.

Did you know that Hickson is currently shooting a better percentage from LMA's "sweet" spot? That "feathery" jumper we always hear about has plummeted to 37%! Like I've been saying for years - he really isn't a great shooter.

And going back to the previous page in regards to Zbo - no, LMA is not a better scorer than Zbo. Never has been, never will be. Zach has an arsenal full of moves, all LMA has is a "feathery" jumper.

He seems to be on board with this team. I think Portland will sign him; especially seeing how well he's been playing so far this season. The only way he leaves Portland is if he had some major injury before he re-signs.

Glad you enjoyed it, Mags! It's but just a chapter in the full story that is LMA's underwhelming play.

I think you need to be able to run your offensive through a post player. Not every time down the court, or even most of the time, but a lot of the time. It took a while for LMA to handle the double teams and be able to pass out of it. if JJ shows he can do that and do it successfully then you may have an argument. I just don't think he is that type of player. Not to say he isn't a great compliment player, because he has showed he can be. But can he make his teammates better? As I posted before I assume LMA will be out for a week or two with his sprained ankle. JJ can prove you right. (or wrong)

Well it's good to know that you are in little company. Guess you know more than all the coaches and professionals in the NBA. You know the ones that voted him as an allstar?
