I just couldn't stop laughing after the "all-stars are two way players" remark..... since when?

Yea, the "5 on 5" just felt like the beat writers, or whoever those guys were, were trying to come up with reasons why an all-star shouldn't have been on the team in favor of someone else.

Wow. I just read all those comments. (Thanks for the link.) Essentially, they think LaMarcus shouldn't be an all star because last year's LaMarcus is better than this year's LaMarcus. They are comparing LaMarcus to...LaMarcus instead of comparing him to his competition. Yeah, the other PFs in the west (Lee, Love, Griffin, Zach et al) are such stellar defenders...give me a break.

If anything, the coaches owed him for the snub two years ago.

Clyde was just mad because a 2nd Houston Rocket didn't make the AST, and he was blathering on about something to try to sound smart.

I must admit, I'm a little surprised that Lyn didn't get voted in.

Yeah Aldridge didn't deserve to go in dumb ass writers. He is only second among pf for win share, second in point per game and is now averaging almost 9 boards a game.

But his stats aren't as good as years past and the All-star game is a two way game. His defense is lacking compared to Randolph and Lee he didn't deserve to be in ahead of them.

Hehe, yeah writers... Problem.. The coaches actually look at players and their value to wins. The coaches know that there is no fucking way you replace lee or Randolph for Aldridge. Aldridge is the most versatile big man in the game now. Glad they don't go stern and vote like the moronic fans that voted Yao or vinsuckfully

That's rich. Lets take a look at everyone's Player Efficiency rating:

    Lamarcus Aldridge - 19.70
    David Lee - 19.65
    Zach Randolph - 19.12

    Not to mention:

    Lamarcus Aldridge (2009-10) - 18.30
    Lamarcus Aldridge (2008-09) - 19.13
    Lamarcus Aldridge (2007-08) - 18.32
    Lamarcus Aldridge (2006-07) - 17.17

So it's not the least efficient of his career, and regardless he's still more efficient than those other 2 PF's who made it.

Candace Buckner ‏@blazerbanter Aldridge is so happy about becoming an All-Star again that he won't even mind if they plug him in at center, which if u know LMA, that's big
