Spoiler From the post credits of episode 1. Is it a reference to the snap? Or a current...or future event? The first line says, "Failure to intervene in dire circumstances." Did the TVA fail to intervene in the snap? Was it not suppose to happen? Is that why the Avenger time travel was allowed to happen because it undid the snap, and was therefore "meant to be." Or is this referring to the current event happening in Loki with the variants?
Yeah, definitely a filler episode, could be more if some of the theories on what is actually happening are true.
The entire episode was about building up the character of the second Loki. Making us like her. Establishing a relationship. It's hard to do in such a short time.
Yeah, but there are only 6 total episodes. It feels like wasting time. We want to see the story advance. Feels like it is stalling.
Theory - the entire point of this show is to hand off the Loki mantle to this new woman. It would fit with Marvel's initiative of a female Thor and their overall push to make comics more equitable.
Like she is going to somehow end up in the MCU's timeline? That makes sense. I still think she could be Enchantress. Waiting for Kang still too.
So the new avengers are gonna be kids and women? Heard there will be multiple factions. Rumors that this will also lead into Secret Wars.
My predictions: The judge is protecting Kang the Conquerer, who is the middle "timekeeper". In the comics, she is his lover. The other two are either fake or killed by Kang. Thinking the series ends with the heros losing, the multiverse opens up, and it leads into the new Spiderman, who has a bunch of different variants.
I'm wondering if Kang kills Loki to establish some cred Maybe Loki sacrifices himself as a form of redemption
Spoiler My theory is that Rennslayer wants whatever Sylvie is doing to happen. I'm thinking KANG is somehow trapped in time or in some multiverse and she needs some chaos on the timeline done in a certain way to free him.
Spoiler So, he who remains was a variant of Kang. Interesting they went with a seemingly benevolent and bouncy Willy Wonka esque variant ready to hand over the multiverse to Lokis of all people because he's tired and wants to retire. Is he who remains Immortus? Or is Immortus a different Variant? Season two will follow Doctor Strange and coincide with Antman 3 as the MCU deals with all the Kang variants. The chaos in the mutilverse opens the door for the rest of phase 4.
Spoiler Happy we get a season 2, though we will have to wait. What happened to our Mobius? Where did Renslayer go? When Miss minutes gave her the files, Renslayer responded they weren't what she ask for. Miss Minutes said, He thinks you will like this better or something to that affect and Renslayer didn't know who she was talking about. We know Renslayer was a principle in one life under a different name. How did she get her new name? Is all of her characters somehow attached to Kang? Loki is in a different multiverse were there is only one time keeper who is Kang (He sees the lone statue). So, there are multiple TVAs with multiple Kangs all controlling time? How does that work? If he had Aolith eat all the other Kang variants how is there more leading TVAs in other timelines? If there are many other Kangs leading many other TVAs don't they all have to decide to do the same thing for the timeline to stay in place? Seems like a paradox.
