hahaha....that's pretty pathetic. I'd just give the other teams props for doing a good job on them...don't keep dissing on what you did wrong, you idiots...that's what I'd say (if I had the nerves *gulp*)...haha

Shaq never wants to speak when his team loses..but when L.A win all he does is talk trash about the other team

haha my brother doesn't think so (he's a major Lakers fan...he's wearing his Kobe jersey today)...

the whole fuckin time he would say during the Spurs vs. Lakers matchup, "If they lose, I'm going to return this jersey. I'm going to go fuckin crazy!"

lol...and I was like, "Phat, CHILLOUT." <--yeah, his name is Phat...

yea but most people find it more fun to whatch without them. the lakers are a hard team to like unless youve been a fan for a long time

The NBA make money with shaq and kobe going far in the playoffs....the NBA market loves having them still in the playoffs....glad they were put out

it was also a change, i don't think as many people like watching 4 peats as a different winner every year, like baseball(last couple of years) and football.

yea. them being out is only good for the league. even if it looks like ratings are down a little its better for the league because more people want to see new winners every year. the lakers is passe. theyre also a dynasty thats hard to root for unlike the bulls, and celtics and lakers of old

yea. of course the league is gonna lose money... LA is huge. the NBA likes it when teams from big cities are in the finals (new york, chicago) because of all the people living there.

i dont know why they seem so paranoid about ratings. they need another amazing star like Jordan. They've got Duncan, but he's not flashy enough for the average basketball "fan". maybe lebron will do it

i dont think thats it. his moves, his drives, and peremeter shooting defenetly make him one of the most exiting players in the league. the thing that would keep him from that the most would be lack of exposure and not being on a contending team.

Players at any age should never get too overconfident...and I hate it when the player over explodes at other players...that should never happen...
