MIXUM (if it is you), I think most people had problems about how you tried to say things... not just the points you were trying to make. The fact that you actually responded to comments in one of your threads is highly unusual from what I remember... but here is to hoping you've turned a corner. Let's see how things go after the first loss.

I am just happy with where the team is now... and really if anything in the past was different... we probably wouldn't be here. If Nash had been better... maybe no Oden... etc... As bad as it may have seemed back then... look where it got us.

I just remember Mixum as Debbie Downer. Everything about every situation was the worst it could possibly be. And it would repeat over and over, much the same as the Jack bashing that went on last year. Same thing over and over. Yes, he sucks, we're stuck with it for now, we don't need reminding every 3 hours.

So, that said, here's hoping that all of us can keep from incessantly bashing the things that go wrong and just be constructive here on this new board.

Welcome back Mixum, and I'm looking forward to see what it's like to have you posting about a team that isn't stuck in the crapper.

The night the Blazers win a championship. MIXUM creates a thread: "Parade route completely wrong. Will this franchise ever do something right??"

Just kidding. ;) Welcome back to the flock, MIXUM.

    No you're not.

    Neither am I.

Time to start piling on posters.

Got something to say about me?

Go ahead. Give it your best shot.

You are an ugly hate-filled man.

Just kidding, though. That's a quote from the Simpsons.

Did you name your child Plumber Joe Sarah McCain Palin like some redneck hick did yesterday?

LOL I should shut up, I may end up in ATL if I get this one job I applied for today. :-)

I assumed you made it up. It sounded just plausible enough to be true (there are a lot of nutcases), so I googled it...

    Newborn Named Sarah McCain Palin

A new father in Elizabethtown, Tenn., has secretly named his baby girl Sarah McCain Palin. "I took one for the cause," said Mark Ciptak, whose wife thinks the child is named Ava Grace.

Perfectly reasonable. It's going to take a lot of getting used to... this lack of vitriol for you...

Haha... well, being a Debbie Downer under the PatterNash regime was akin to shooting fish in a barrel. I think that the optimists were frustrated at having to defend the indefensible and the rest of us were frustrated that the outrage at the team's moves and directions was often misdirected at us :)

It's different types of personalities and different approaches to being fans. I'm confident that the Blazers challenging for the playoffs (as opposed to the first pick) with this roster should smooth out interpersonal bumps in the road here...
