12 guys left on base. No excuse for that inning of horrors but the offense stalled after the Stanton homer.

The Dodgers exploited a lot of the bad we saw this season. Bad defense. Bad base running. Bad at bats. Of the teams we have seen make long runs over the years this team had the worst psyche I’ve ever seen.

We will look back and say they should’ve won game one and five. Having said that guys just had either dreadful World Series performance or playoff performances overall.

Gleyber who was very good in the ALDS and ALCS was absolutely dreadful in the lead off spot in the WS. A horrible 0-5 last night with just terrible at bats. Not even swinging at good pitches on at least two occasions.

Austin Wells outside of a couple of homers was just completely clueless at the plate the entire playoffs. 22 strike outs and overmatched for many at bats.

Anthony Rizzo gutted out a pretty solid ALCS with broken fingers. You give him a bit of a break but he’s another one with just a World Series full of terrible at bats.

Jazz and Verdugo did some things here and there but more just awful at bats than productive ones.
Batting .208 and .182 for the playoffs.

The big one is Aaron Judge. You don’t get a pass for finally waking up when already down 3-0 in the series. Not to mention that inexcusable dropped ball which started the entire fifth inning debacle.
