Just like Mj's sig is the fadeaway, that dunk is kobe's. He has done it Multiple times during his career.
I was at the game, box seats (AMAZING SEATS), and I am so lucky I got to witness a game like this from Kobe Bryant. Just wow, he's friggen unbelievable. THE BEST player in the entire world. He was nailing it from deep, getting to the line, pulling off some ridiculous mid-range sidewards floaters, he made some incredible passes, and that dunk... MMMM!!!!!!! That was just unbelievable! If that's not #1 on SC, someone else better have done a backflip and slammed, because that windmill underneath the basket by Kobe was just nasty. Gerald! Where have you been, buddy?!?! I wore a Gerald Green jersey to the game, so that must be why he played well. But his first half was beautiful. The jumper was falling and aside from falling for 2 bullsh** upfakes, he didn't do a bad job defensively. The second half wasn't half bad either, for Gerald. The thing I loved about Gerald tonight is that he kept taking it to Kobe like crazy. He wasn't intimidated, even though Kobe was torching us. He kept coming at him and he was very aggressive going to the basket. He needs to do this more often. He did it last night and tonight, and I love it. Gerald made a couple smart passes as well. Gomes' mid-range shot is WET. He's such a consistent player, I love what he brings to the table every single night. That shot has been absolutely killer lately, keep it up Gomes! Also, it's f*cking bullsh** that Luther Head made the Sophomore team over Gomes. Are you kidding me? Scal! Wooo hooo! I confronted a fan for booing him early in the game. When Scal came in, I cheered and he was like "Boooo!! Scal is a bum, he sucks!" Then Scal started knocking down shots, and I turned to him and said "Hey man, why aren't you booing him now?" He just smiled and looked away, like "F*ck you, kid." But Doc is a f*cking dipshit for taking Scal out of the game!!! WTF IS THAT?!?! Scal was absolutely lighting it up and he was playing excellent defense on Lamar Odom, then Doc pulls him out? F*ck you, man. Big Al couldn't get anything down tonight, he really had a tough night offensively. Some of the reason is because he just couldn't get the rolls, but also I think Bynum's size was a big factor (that is a BIG BOY right there). Al, as always, was a beast on the glass though. Delonte's shot wasn't falling tonight either, and he refused to finish a layup tonight without menuvering his entire body 7 times in the air. Just go straight up with it, D-West. Delonte had a sick block, though, and he made a few nice passes. Perk started off nicely, hitting that hook in the post over Bynum. I like to see that from the big fella. Wally: eat yourself. Overall, we didn't play a bad game at all. We didn't turn the ball over a lot at all and we were right there with them the whole game. The only thing stopping us from winning this one was Kobe, who went absolutely nuts on us tonight. What an unbelievable player. Player Stat Lines Kobe Bryant: 43 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 blocks on 13-25 shooting, 7-9 from 3, 10-13 FT Ryan Gomes: 23 points, 7 rebounds on 10-14 shooting Gerald Green: 22 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists on 8-17 shooting, 2-5 from 3 Brian Scalabrine: 17 points (season high), 1 rebound, 2 assists on 5-7 shooting, 3-4 from 3 Al Jefferson: 10 points, 14 rebounds on 3-11 shooting Delonte West: 10 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists on 4-13 shooting Kendrick Perkins: 9 points, 3 rebounds, 3 blocks on 4-8 shooting Wally Szczerbiak: 5 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists on 1-5 shooting, 1-2 from 3 Rajon Rondo: 2 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal on 1-5 shooting 13 game losing streak. Woooo! Celtic Pride is back, I tell you! Whatever, I am just so happy/thankful that I got to be at the Garden to experience this kind of game from Kobe. Next Game: Friday (2/2/07) at home vs. LA Clippers at 7:30 pm ET.
QUOTE (Melo061 @ Jan 31 2007, 11:56 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No, that dunk is kobe's signature. All he did was tell you that Kobe has indeed done that dunk a few times in his career. He wasn't being a jerk about it.
CB32, you're very lucky to see a performance like this live. I have seen probably over 50-60 NJ Nets games, and only in the past 2 seasons have I seen performances close to this live (161-157 game, 2 days later Pierce's game winner, AI's 40+ last year as a Sixer, VC's 30[ts in 2nd half). You saw the greatest player of this era play one of his better games of the season...consider yourself lucky.

Kobe Bryant is one of the best players of ALL-TIME at the SG position (2nd best, IMO, the closest thing we've ever seen to Jordan), and I got to see him explode up close. It was just too good. And that dunk was just that much better seeing it in person.
