Jumping in, my thoughts on Kobe and how he was defended during the game. I thought it wasn't just one person who stood out. Everyone took a shot on Kobe and I don't particularly remember one standing out over everyone. Kobe started dishing early on and was not looking for his shot. I don't think it was a standout on Dallas defense that made him dish, as the Lakers were getting open looks in the first half due to Kobe's presence. 2nd half, Kobe seemed to look for his shot more and he made a couple of nice jumpers that you just can't stop. But I thought it was more of a help defense that helped limit Kobe on the night(he'd drive by his man but would be met at the basket). Also, the different looks probably bothered Kobe a bit. Josh Howard to me had a couple of good defense stances against Kobe, moreso than George imo. Not taking anything away from George though. He hustles and bodies.

He has been sticking to the team philoshophy all season long in all situations. Again, we won't going to win playing kobe ball. We got massacred on the boards. We had the lead with kobe only taking 3 shots. Kobe went out and we lost the lead. He scored more in the 2nd and 3rd and yet we kept on losing. Now logic tells me that something else is the problem.Maybe a +30 on the boards was the problem?edit; Reemeber, we had the lead playing team ball.</div>Exactly, you won't win when Kobe is 8-18 shooting and has 6 turnovers. I'm glad we agree.
