I'm starting to be a little more optimistic about this Odom injury. When he was out before the Lakers didn't play too bad and it gave the team a chance to pull together. They might have lost today but they did better than expected and their defense showed a lot of improvement. Shammond>Smush on that side of the floor.

Man this thread was going all well in good until someone dropped the "F" bomb at me...Anyway let's get back on topic, PLEASE...I think the Lakers played good today, it just came down to missed FT's.I hope there's a Lakers/Suns playoff seriesI think the Lakers are gonna win 3 straight at least. Minnesota, Milwaukee, Philly.... Minnesota may be a tough one but I am confident we will win all 3.

Eh hes overreacting maybe because the Lakers loss. :PBTW dont take this too seriously. Im joking the Lakers played great today with Odom out. Free throws hurt us but the Suns closed the game us. Smush playing terribly as usual. Kobe showed flashes of the playoffs with his footwork and his turn around j's. WE put up a good fight IMO.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Mar. 5, 2007 12:00 AMIt had been 10 months since Kobe Bryant and Raja Bell played against each other so the two acknowledged one another with gestures before tipoff Sunday, teased each other about fouls, shared some in-game laughs and . . . wait, who is this, again? After 2006 playoff exchanges that were as friendly as poison arrows, Bryant and Bell appeared borderline chummy. The Suns and Lakers had met three times since last year's first-round series, punctuated by Bell's clothesline - which resulted in suspension - on Bryant, but Bryant missed each during his recovery from knee surgery."I wasn't going to buy into it," Bell said of the rematch. "That was long ago. That happened. It's not to say we can't be cool after that."advertisement Bell had one of his best defensive games of the season Sunday, exerting two games' worth of energy to track and contain Bryant. Bryant missed 17 of 28 shots. Bell was the one making crucial jumpers, hitting four three-pointers to build on Friday's slump-busting game.Bell hit two threes at the end of the third quarter just as the Lakers cut the lead to three."Against the Lakers, I don't concern myself so much with if I'm going to shoot the ball because my focus is defense and making sure Kobe's night is as hard as it can be," Bell said.Just to score 31, Bryant took the most shots he has in a game since a 58-point night Dec. 29."I got some really good looks," Bryant said. "The ball was just falling a little short for me."It was not all Bell's work on Bryant, who saw a lot of Shawn Marion in the fourth quarter. Twice, Bryant tried to attack Marion in the final five minutes and missed both takes.</div>#1 and #2, aww the fun is over... [IMG] Stupid professionals...#3 Niiice

You know what, Raja bell actually make some good defense. I'll give him his props. But man, Kobe was missing shots he usually makes in his sleep. Also, did anyoen see that No-one on the suns can handle bryant in the low post?

Yeah I will admit...Raja beat Kobe on Sunday. Raja stopped him when he needed to, and Raja also hit some big 3's...I still have 0 respect for him though.
