    Unnecessary if Maris was making a dig at your girls.

    But I read it along the lines of, "Well, the stadium is empty because only little girls go to soccer games, and they have early bedtimes...." I could be wrong, though. I've heard comments like that enough to interpret the comment the way I did, just like there's been enough digs on your daughters that you took the comment the way you did.

    I wouldn't think the prawn sandwich eating section would be a good barometer of "die hard"

    Ps Timbers are rarely good so not sure that would be the reason people showed up in the first place :cheers:

    Thanks, it's nice to be recognized for the consistency of my posts.

    I wasn't even aware PapaG had little girls, but in his fright-filled mind everything is an attack against him. If he had seats behind the goal he'd think they were kicking the ball AT HIM.
