I can't believe we let Babbitt go. For what, room for Claver or Wright?

Here we are losing every game in ignonimy while Babbitt stars in New Orleans, the key to their resurgence.

Yeah, but how were we to know that he would turn into THAT Luke Babbitt. Now we can lump him in with Moses Malone and Michael Jordan as another superstar that got away. "Did you know the Blazers used to have Luke Babbitt?"

We need a Babbitt Countdown for his good games. Four, three, two, one, Babbitt Bullet to the Blazer head.

Ever noticed how Babbitt sounds like booboo bird, the other name of the pelican? Or am I thinking of the dodo.

Averaging 11.5/4.9 on 58% (60% from 3) in just 21 mpg over the past 6 games. Pretty solid. People around here would mess their pants if Leonard did that.

I had no problem letting him go if for no other reason I didn't have to listen to some of you on this board
over embellish on a daily basis about how bad he was, and would never again play in the NBA........

    Well, for the season:

    Meyers Leonard:
    6.0 ppg
    4.4 rpg
    .661 TS%
    .443 3FG%
    .905 FT%
    15.1 PER

    Luke Babbitt
    4.3 ppg
    2.0 rpg
    .654 TS%
    .515 3FG%
    .733 FT%
    11.2 PER

The only thing Babbitt is doing better than Leonard is 3FG%, and given how few attempts he's had (Meyers has MADE 50% more 3 FGs than Babbitt), I hardly consider the difference pants messing worthy. Also, given the fact that Meyers is 4 years younger and 4" taller, I'll gladly take Meyers as our current back-up stretch 4 over Luke Babbitt.

Oh, I hear you. I like Leonard better too. My point was simply that a six game run like that from him would get this place in a tizzy.

I kind of feel sorry for Luke Babbitt. No. He isn't LeBron but he's stuck with it
It's not his fault a Pritchard drafted him.
