<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">Wesley isn't non existent, he plays better defense than Anderson so I don't know where you're trying to go on that one.</div> I don't quite think so. Anderson, from his days in San Antonio, up until now, has always been a good defender. I think you're over hyping Wesley's D. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">Although Wesley has been shooting horribly these past few games, you need to keep in mind he just came off an injury and should be fine by the time season starts. Wesley's shot is just currently off, I mean he did take much of the summer off. Just give him a couple games to regain his shooting form</div> Well I did. He shot terrible in Memphis, and below average against Washington. I just don't buy the whole "his shot is off, give him time" approach. Right now he's fighting for a spot with a player who is younger, faster, and stronger in DA. Then you have an impressive rookie who has outplayed him in every game of the preseason.
i think we should trade wesley for something now cause i'd say anderson is almost alike wesley, but younger and a better shooter and that can give barry or head more minutes cause they have all been better than wesley in the preseason

DA is athletic, tall, and fast. He's not only a shooter, but a slasher. Wesley is short, slow, and not athletic. He's confined to just a spot up shooter. So I don't think they're too alike.

If Wesley has been playing like garbage during the preseason, what kind of team would want to trade for him? By the way, key phrase is that this is in the preseason. Preseason.
Wesley did have a good game with Washington. His shot is not completely back, but it is getting there because he did hit some shots. Hopefully, he is ready.
