I don't think I would have thought to shoot through my windshield.
Hope he had safety glasses on.

Maybe you should start installing gun ports for them.

I saw this on GlockTalk. Excellent job by LVPD. Glad they caught one of these animals while the other currently resides in Toe Tag Alley.

Sweet. A shoot out through the neighborhood. Good times.

I didn't have a problem with the actions of the officer. Whoever was in that vehicle had already committed murder. They could have killed someone else with the multi ton hunk of metal they were driving. No one wants a driving shootout in the middle of the city. But sometimes an officer has to what they have to do to protect.

I figure if I can call out a policeman's actions when I disagree, then I should stand up for them when I think they are in the right, doing their job.

He shot through the $800 windshield because he's right-handed. First, he tried with his left hand out the window, but couldn't do it.

Basketball players spend their summers learning to be ambidextrous.

Did Olshey do the scouting of this cop?

LV Metro NEEDS to hire a big man coach in the offseason, however.

I don’t know the area so I can’t know what was behind the bad guy. As long as the officer wasn’t putting innocent civilians at risk of being hit by missed shots then I’m fine with this ballsy maneuver. Pretty impressive shooting under stress while driving.

I guarantee you once he is back on duty, he's going to be hitting the range until he learns to shoot as well with his left hand as with his right. I already applaud him for the good reload while bailing out of a car during a shooting. Now he needs to work on that non-dominate hand shooting.

When I was at the range practicing off-hand shooting, the key for me was always taking my time, focusing on the front sight, and concentrating on my breathing. It worked for me, and would likely be a good place to start for anyone. No doubt he'll have a reputable training officer who can help him.

That is....assuming he takes the initiative.

Hey, hey, don't knock donuts. I love 'em. They're great with a cup of tea. My wife loves them with a cup of coffee. We Love Donuts, We Love Donuts, We Love Donuts.

I know, man. I was thinking the same thing. The only tea I can stand in iced tea with a little lemon, no sugar. I am just not cultured enough to do the hot tea thing. BUT WITH Doughnuts??? Oh, hell no.

You mean, you don't hold your little finger up in the air as you grab your teacup. I suppose you also know nothing about the doylie.
