The Wolves have only one contract offer out right now, and that is to Mark Madsen. It sounds like we will sign only 4 more players, which will put our roster exactly at 12 with nobody on the IR. There is one spot that will go either to Kendall Gill or Kirk Penney, and according to Taylor "Kevin McHale really likes Penney". My thoughts: We are screwed if we think Madsen is capable of being our top bigman off the bench. I don't want Madsen anywhere close to this franchise, why did we give him an offer? That would suck if we sign him.
According to insider...the wolves are interested in the following players Jim Jackson (kings) Tyrone Hill (sixers) Jermaine Jones (cavs) insider also says..JJ is the most likely to join..

ok its definate.. check nba.com/timberwolves .. they did sign Mark Madsen and Fred Hoiberg.. i dont mind Madsen, i know theres alot better out there but hes a hustle player off the bench.. but now that allnet mentioned it.. i wouldn't mind Jermaine Jones or Jim Jackson.. i would have preffered recruit Jones than Madsen.. but its done now. Maybe we can still steal Jones he'd be good for the wolves off the bench.. better yet, y not go for Odom lol.. id rather Tyrone Hill retire before he come to the wolves.
