Pulling a win out of their hat <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">After sizzling McGrady disappears, Boozer, Wagner lead Cavs to victory Their namesake implies they're supposed to have some sort of wizardry, but Monday night, the Magic seemed to possess more than just sleight of hand. The crowd that braved the weather to attend at Gund Arena was first uplifted by LeBron James' late decision to play on his still smarting sprained ankle. Then they were awestruck by the Midas touch of his antagonist, Tracy McGrady, who had the half of his life. Finally, they were driven to the edge of their seats by a tense scrap to the finish, in which the Cavaliers somewhat miraculously survived to clinch an 99-98 victory, their fourth win in their past five games.</div> Full Story
you guys mentioned about boozer teaching gooden..how about juwan teaching boozer..lol juwan did just about everything against boozer and boozer had most of his points off rebounds and against other defenders.anyways mr.infante you also forgot Keith Bogans he's been playing really well kinda like wagner for the cavs plus he is a ron artest in the making with his defensive skills.anyways i thought tmac was gonna have 70pts or somethin man i cant beleive the damn toe!!
You never give up eh? Howard did not teach Boozer a darn thing. Boozer hame up bigger when it mattered most, crunch time. Of course I am not debating between these 2 cats, I am debating you hatin' on Boozer, because that is what this is about. Leave the Eastern Conference Player Of The Week alone, ok? You lost, we are 1-1, lets move on and look forward to the next meeting.
i aint hatin on boozer..he is my 2nd favorite cavs player now and I love how he plays..im defending the magic specially howard who deserves some respect.

great win and a great game to attend in person. This cavs team with mcinnis at the point is an entirely different ball club now. he provides that spark and quickness and can dribble penentrate and dish with the best of them and my goodness is he fast u have 2 attend a game in person to appreciate his flat out quickness. The cavs have so many more options now than just lebron making his own shot. I love juan in the 6th man role a nice boost when he hit's the court. We seem to be a team that has some depth now K. brown, juanny, battie, kapono(3), ollie (even tho he can't shoot a jumper to save his life) and diop off the bench has been great the last 5 games. I just think the cavs instantly became a different team when they traded miles and picked up mcinnis. Only one player away from making a serious run in the east.
Ollie has a good 17 foot shot, but that is about where the range ends. I am impresssed people, this is our best stretch of the season, if we keep this up we can make the playoffs easily. We are only 3 games out of the 8th spot.
actually playoffs right now are like this: Pacers Nets Pistons Hornets Bucks Raptors Knicks... then right behind them is Sixers and Miami with the same number of wins (3 more than the cavs..)
no..cavs are 3 wins away from being tied at the 10th spot..(not enough for playoffs)at this time any team in the eastern conference can still go to playoffs .. lol

wtf? playoff teams are like this Pacers 33-13 Nets 22-20 Pistons 29-16 Hornets 25-19 Bucks 25 - 19 celtics 20 - 24 Raptors 20 - 22 knicks 20 - 26 then : sixers19 - 25 Miami 19 - 26 Cavs 16 - 28 Hawks 14 -31 Wizards 13 - 30 Chicago 13 - 31 Orlando 12 - 34 so what did I get wrong? oh i see..it aint new york and miami is sixers and miami...same ..
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Ollie has a good 17 foot shot</div> are u sure about that.... watch last night's game again he just can't hit anything and it's been that way all year even last season with his previous team. he's a veteran and a good ball handler but his shot is broke.
that goes by %...Nets are second seed cuz they lead their division.only mistake I made was raptors and celtics..ok raptors go before celtics..but that does not make any diff.and that site is not even updated from last night. here NBA Standings after games played on Monday Night.

Cavs don't have many deep threats, it is actually shocking to me how great Wagner has been stroaking the 3.
Ollie isn't a perimeter shooter. He can definatly hit a three ball spotted up, but who can't? The point is that Ollie is the point guard and he doesn't need to hit the long range jump shot. His job is to defend the perimeter, push the ball, and get the ball to the post. There is nothing else he needs to do.
Are we watching the same team? Ollie is NOT a good shooter. He may hit an occasional 15 footer, but thats about it. As far as him being able to hit a spot up 3 like somebody mentioned, I'll disagree. When is the last team he hit a three pointer? I can't recall off the top of my head him making one at all this year. He may have hit a few over the course of the year, but he has no business attempting one unless its a desparation shot with the shot clock about to go off. The win over the Magic was by no means a good win for us, but a win is a win and I'll take it. If not for key injuries, the Magic would have more than likely beat us. I figured this would be a huge struggle for us since we cannot stop McGrady or Howard whatsoever, and it turned out to be just as I expected. Thank God that Wagner apparently acquired a 3 point shot over the summer, or else we'd be in trouble. Watching Z play and knowing that Rasheed could be out there instead of him is making me sick. Z gets the ball stripped from him about 5 times a game. Not to mention he apparently feels that he is a shooting guard now and hangs around the perimeter more often than he takes his man down low. Diop and Battie are going to continue to eat into his minutes because they unlike him can play a little D. Its obvious that Silas doesn't care for him much and that he really isn't making progress in the right direction on the defensive end, so why do we keep him around?

You are right he has no business tossing one up. But he doesn't. Now i was saying that he can hit one spotted up. ANY POINT GUARD can hit one spotted up regardless if they are a three point threat or not. Hell get me open, spotted up, shoulders set, and I'll even hit that shot.
