    Fiction

Heat, Pistons, Pacers, Wizard, Bulls, Celtics, Sixers, and Nets willl all be ahead of them. Not necessarily in that order.

F/F Grant Hill will average at least 20ppg if he stays healthy.

Fiction... i dont see him being a huge part of our offense next year. i expect for him to be more of a role player. expect francis and howard to get a bulk of the points this year...

F/F i know this was already asked but will the magic make the playoffs? (i wanna hear someone elses opinion on this..)

Fiction, Jurassic was basically right. I would through in the Cavs as another team that has the potential to be better than us while we're maybe better than the Sixers next year, I still doubt that Webber/AI can co-exist.

F/F We won't have two GMs after this upcoming season, either one of them is going or we finally get someone who is capable of the job.

The magic would have made the playoffs last year if it wasnt for the injury bug. At one time we were without 5 of our players. We have a team that can stick around for the last couple spots. I see the magic making the playoffs if either the nets, celtics or cavs catch the injury bug. Im tired of the perdictions I cant wait to see what this team does.

smokrockz, can you please stick to the Fact/Fiction format? If you or anyone else want to discuss it in more detail, feel free to open an extra thread.

Fiction. I think both smith and twardzik are Retarded but i doubt they get fired, at least for a while, the magic ae comfortabke with their ridiculousnsess. I swear weisbrod wasn't that bad, that team was poorly coached and plagued with injuries all last year and still managed to improve tremendously on the year before.

F/F The Untouchables on this team are Dwight, Jameer, and Hedo. Anyone else could be moving anytime.

Good answer to my F/F question.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheGreatK-Bob:</div><div class="quote_post">F/F The Untouchables on this team are Dwight, Jameer, and Hedo. Anyone else could be moving anytime.</div>

Fiction: I've got a bad feeling that we're trading Jameer at one point or another.

    OT:

I don't see why, smokrokz wanted to start a discussion in here and all I did was forgetting to ask a question because I couldn't think of one and still I wanted to answer your F/F question, just forgot to add that someone else can ask one. I don't see how that can make me guilty of my own crime?

By the way, I think that some of the questions asked could well be discussed in an extra thread.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TwinTowers:</div><div class="quote_post">f/f- Magic will get a Top 8 pick in the 2006 Draft?</div>

Fiction: To realisticly get a Top 8 pick, we need to be one of the worst 8 teams in the league, I don't see us that bad.

F/F: Nick Anderson's jersey will be the first the Magic retire.

Fiction... he was good, but not great. didn't really do anything to magical for our franchise.

F/F: dwight will finish as a top 5 power forward or center?

Fact- I dono if he's going too but I have faith. If he improves likw most Rookies do as they progress he could pas Duncan soon.

Fact, Look for Dwight to make it and than either Francis or Hill, Possibly even Turk or Nelson if given time. I'm sure one of them wil make it.

F/F. The next player to move on this team will be Steve Francis.

Fact. Francis is arguably the most valuable trading piece the Magic have (because Howard is untouchable), and he's a veteran, so it's likely that he'll be dealt if some team can come up with a suitable package.

Fact or Fiction: Center is the position most in need of an upgrade.

Fiction but could well be Fact: Kasun is really playing well in the European Championship tournament and I see him getting more playing time, he could very well end up being our starting C when Cato is injured or less productive but Cato is having a contract year so he'll likely be playing with more intensity and Battie is a perfect off the bench guy and, well next do Dwight we don't need a great C offensive-wise anyway. So I don't see this position really in need of an upgrade.

On the other hand, we've got depth and good material on nearly every other position.

While the SF spot seems to be our strongest with Hill and Hedo we could do with an upgrade on all of the other positions.

But at PF for example we lack a decent backup for Dwight. Battie might help out from time to time but Garrity isn't exactly what I would call a PF. Then we've got Francis and Stevenson at SG, with Hedo maybe getting some time there as well. I don't think Francis is all that good as a SG and we also lack a big and defensive minded PG to balance this.

At PG we've got Nelson and Dooling playing but when those two have to play alongside Francis, it's not all that great imho.

In my opinion, we're more in need of a bigger and more defensive-minded PG or a real SG than we're in need of an upgrade at C.

This would be another great discussion, I believe.

F/F (don't know whether this has been asked before):

Francis transitions well from PG to SG.

Fact, I think Francis will have a smooth transition speaking that they tried this last year and I think he is ready to move away from having to always handle the ball. I know he hogs the ball, but that comes along with the PG and being he was the main scoring threat I didnt blame him. I think having the whole offseason to change as well as training camp and preseason, he should be on the right page. This will help him get better shots as well as free up some for Dwight and Hill.

F/F our bench is one of the deepest and most talented?

Fiction. When T-Mac came to Orlando, he became a star. But he only spent 4 years with us. He's bound to stay with Houston or any other team for longer... though it would be cool if we retired his jersey.

F/F: Trading Steve Francis for Paul Pierce would be a good move for the Magic.
