    Some people are very competitive, so they get interested in sports. They like to find someone on whom to focus their aggression. Once their target (Mixum) is removed, they just find the next-highest nonconformist. After they ban Mediocre Man, they'll get to PapaG and then me. Kind of like Iraq, then Afghanistan, then Libya. I don't post as much, so I'm less visible, the Somalia of the board.

    Magic knows how the league works. He knew we'd be hosed by the refs in the fourth quarter if it appeared we were going to spank the Mavs. After watching him work as a color commentatator and coach, I don't think much of his intellect, but he's been around a long time, he knows how the league works, and he's apparently a realist. Me, I'm still wearing my tin foil "the Blazers can overcome 8 on 5 basketball and compete in the playoffs" hat.
