Wow, the Magic have now evolved into a premier defensive team. Mobley and Francis are underrated perimeter defenders, and the paint will be unpenetrable with Cato and Battie standing there. I have a question about Johnny Davis though: Is he a Jeff Van Gundy type of coach or a Don Nelson type? The Magic would excel on both sides.

Man seriously someone should go arrest the cavs managment for charges of stealing good players this off season. First snow from philly now gooden from orlando. The cavs are becoming the most under rated team this off season. Sort of like the spurs last year.

No, Johnny Davis is the losing type of coach. He seems like a nice guy though, but that's his problem-- he's way too nice.

If John Weisbrod is smart he'll fire Johny Davis, but he might wait until the end of next year to do that...

That isnt gona happen unless they get off to a 0-19 start like last year. He has siad the franchise is fully intent on giving JD the chance to show what he can do as coach for a full season. Though he has a pathetic coaching record in the nba well under .500 he may be the fit for orlando if the team wins they wont think of firing him. So basically his future lies in the hands of his team not managment.

Yea, you guys would rather have N.Mohammad and O.Harrington for Dampier. [IMG]

Now you know why they are the Warriors. [IMG]

He's way too nice? I don't think so. I remember reading somewhere in the paper where after some of the games last year, that he would be yelling so loud at the guys in the locker room that everyone in the vicinity of the room within the hallway could hear. Last year, you could tell that he was frustrated with a lot of the players that would not give it their all down the stretch since the Magic were out of the playoff picture. Doc Rivers was too nice, JD pushes for a team that busts their ass every night, otherwise Weisbrod wouldn't have kept him.

 It seems that the Cavs are now a better team than the magic. For all of you who think the magic will make the playoff does that mean they just dropped a few slots down?

Only positions you got us beat are SG and C, C won't be that big of a difference considering our C will definetely contain Z. So it'd be about even.
