#7 is Daniels Dark horse is Murray [Sharpe goes higher than 7, so 1 of Daniels or Murray is there … more likely is Daniels] [other option is Duren — closest version of Robert Williams and D arriving in Portland.] Smith, Banchero, Holmgren, Ivey are < #7 Sharpe or Mathurin at 5 or 6. Blazers pick is HIGHLY likely a good player if not a star.
I read that in Bernie Sanders voice. I don't think it's a low chance but I think there is a slight chance that we don't draft anyone in the first round. I think the most likely thing is that we trade back either to Charlotte at 13 and 15, picking at 13 and sending 15 to Detroit for Grant, to San Antonio at 9 and 25, picking at 9 and sending 25 along with the Bucks pick to the Pistons for Grant or trading Bledsoe and 7 for 11 and Randle... we might even be able to trade Bledsoe, 7 and 36 for 11, Randle and the Mavs 2023 first... at that point we could trade the Mavs and Bucks future firsts for Grant. I think the thing that could make it so we don't pick in the first round at all would be if we traded 7 and Bledsoe for OG but I only think we would do that if we had another deal set up that would get us another starting quality forward like Grant.
- Sharpe. - Mathurin. Murray if he drops. This finals and playoffs have reinforced to me how far we are from truly competing. None of the college players available to us at 7 will be truly ceiling raisers for our team. Nor will Collins/Grant/OG. Go big or go home with Sharpe.
Did you watch this clip? Talking about Sharp's camp and their influence and how things went down at Kentucky.
