<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheNextJordan8:</div><div class="quote_post">Magic Johnson and Kareem Rush, were on Jimmy Kimmel live yesterday. Magic said their is a high chance that Karl will stay. He said he has a nice relationship with Kobe, and his wife and kids like LA. Also, he said that Malone wants to play because last year he was robbed my injuries and did not play to his full potential/didn't play in the Finals. Malone in the line-up is a big plus, if it happens!!! Sorry to burst youre bubbles guys.</div> "I came here for a particular reason, and now I feel it has been snatched away from me," Malone told the Los Angeles Times after the O'Neal trade. This "Particular Reason" he is talking about is not a friendship or because his family likes it in L.A. Malone only went to L.A. for a championship, I don't think he will continue playing unless he has a good chance at winning a championship in the next year or 2. And the Lakers can't offer him that. Unless Malone wants to play for 'fun', don't count on him returning to the Lakers. Btw, if he was going to return to the Lakers, I think he would've made his decision by now. I'm sure all Lakers staff are sucking his d--- now that theyre team got dropped from the elite, but if they really wanted him to stay they wouldve done a better job at keeping kobe and shaq together. Sorry to burst your bubble. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheNextJordan8:</div><div class="quote_post">Also, he said that Malone wants to play because last year he was robbed my injuries and did not play to his full potential/didn't play in the Finals.</div> Read between the lines, he said malone wants to continue playing, but he didn't say for who he will be playing for.
There is a really good chance of Malone going to Miami. One of Shaq's jobs this offseason in Miami is to recruit players. Malone will more than likely be picked up by the Heat.
