As a standout linebacker in the league, he played with Miami (1991-95), Chicago (1996-97), the Jets (1998-2000), New England (2001) and New Orleans (2002). Toward the end of his playing career, Cox made it clear that he hoped to move into coaching someday.Herrmann coached at Michigan for 20 years and was the Wolverines' defensive coordinator for the past nine seasons. In 1997, he won the Frank Broyles Award as the country's top assistant coach. Herrmann im not too familiar with, but the guy sounds knowledgeful.
