Are you going to be there tomorrow? I have some business at that dock and would love to meet you and see the MarAzul in person.
Don't worry, your boy Zinke will find a way to not only undo that, but also start dumping all of the nation's trash and sewage there. barfo
I've been trying to get hold of my client to set a time, but no reply yet. If I don't hear from him before then, I'll probably come around 1:30 - 2:00 pm just to meet you and see the MarAzul, if that works for you.
Lets say I wanted to visit French Frigate Shoals again, then maybe run out to Laysan Island, then head for Sitka. What would I need to do to comply with this list? Cost? Well let's Go! I can be ready to leave in about two weeks. It looks like Oahu is just about on the way there. I am pretty sure we need to go there first to get permits. Find out how to get this done and costs of these regs. Might as well get permits for French Frigate Shoal too, it would be just about on our coarse returning say to Sitka. Johnston Is. is about 700 miles SW of Oahu, FF shoal is about that north and tad east of Johnston so a good reach returning. Sounds good.
PalMyra Atoll first then swing up to Johnston via Kingman reef. Man that would be cool. Add PalMyra and Kingman to the permit application.
@e_blazer did indeed stop by for a chat today. A cup a tea and abit a Blazer talk. He also brought me up to date on current affairs! I guess I have been driven the boat so much, I hadn't be paying attention.
Really enjoyed meeting MarAzul. I think we could do with more face to face meetings of board members so we get a better idea of what they're truly like. The boat he's built is an amazing testament to years of hard work on his part.
MarAzul departed the dock in Oswego today on the way back down to Multnomah Channel. Several people were waving and shouting at me from the west side sea wall as I we waited to get under the Steel bridge. Could not quite make out what they were saying. Had to go right about that time as they raise the lower deck for me, so we scooted through. Was it anyone here from S2 waving?
