Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa returned to practice on Friday and said he hopes to play in Tuesday's season opener after missing more than a week due to an undisclosed upper-body injury. "I believe so, yeah," Hossa said of playing in the season opener on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals. "We'll see how it goes. I try to go day by day. It's been a long year for me, lots of hockey games. The last few years were so many hockey games for me. I want to make sure I take care of my body the right way. If I have to miss a couple [of games], I'll do that. But if I can play, I feel 100 percent, I'll play."
