He likes living in Portland - so there's that.

1st quarter against the Jazz I'm guessing had 20 something. Kid was on fire that night!

I heard he made 100 threes in a row - in practice. Where he's always at his best.

Doesn't he still live here. From what I remember he has gotten really into music production. I doubt he still has NBA level game, but a camp invite is not the end is the world.

I'd really like this. I'm a sucker for players returning to end their career here.

Except for the fact last time he played two years ago, he was shooting 23 percent from three.

He was playing with a bad back and numbers clearly not in line with the shooter he is.

No downside in a training camp invite.

It was 24 points in one quarter. On a side note, one that didn't go down was the dunk attempt in my avatar. I'd never seen him do anything close to that. It would've brought the house down had it gone down.

I remember Kevin Johnson retired and came back after about a year and a half in order to replace Kidd who got injured.
They made it to the playoffs and even won a series.

I think he retired because he got all weird. Would be great to have him back.

And it was the 3rd quarter. BRoy couldn't go in the second half and told Marty he needed him to pick up the slack. Boy, do he ever! 2 points at halftime and then went off for 24 in the third. I was there with my kids. It was insane. For that one quarter, that sweet looking jumper couldn't miss. I've never seen him play with that kind of confidence, before or since.

I think the funniest part was when Matt Harpering referred to him as "what's his name" in the post game interview. I guess you could say no one expected Marty to go off like that.

He and Dame should work together.

I'd invite him. Still think he's a better option than Connaughton.

While we're revisitng former Portland players who developed a back injury. Might as well bring back Rudy too.
